Little did we know that Heskett has some really serious cardiac issues. I wonder how much, if any, these issues were affecting him in high school and college.

It is amazing that Joe did what he did with his health problems. If they had caught them before College he never would have seen the mat. One of my favorite wrestlers & a good guy. At the time I figured Joe would have the better career. Cael amazed us all & he continues to do so. pcostilow Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Coincidentally enough, Joe's son just won a junior high state title in Ohio this weekend. I think he's going to Watterson, a program that is flourishing with involvement from Tommy Rowlands and Ross Thatcher. 1

Recollection is mid/late rsFR year think everybody thought Joe would have a slightly better career. .
