666 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 The only wrestling team champion I wrestled on was my elementary school team winning a conference title in 1976. Then after most of the boys quit the wrestling team and went into bball during Jr High I was just wrestling for individual glory since the team was so rotten after that (we'd occasionally pick up team trophies in minor tournaments). The funny thing was those guys who went into bball (to impress the girls) all rode the bench for 3 years before crawling back to the wrestling team in HS. They'd lost 3 years development and got hammered on the mat on their return. Ooopsy! None of them placed at state.
