I loved this format! Match went to 15, not 10 and there was par terre potential points in the "bonus" time! A lot of action and fun to watch back in the day!! Even included push out points...Good Stuff!

Wasn't this on basic cable? It was before paid streaming services were common. Maybe even before DVR was common. I remember watching it "live."

Yep. Watched it was excited about it, but you knew it wasn't going to last.

Terrible name...🤐

True, but you see the logic. They were trying to attract ... ugghhh, can't believe I'm going to use thus f-in' term ... "causuals." They wanted to make it clear that an actual sporting event was happening. But then, in the packaging, they leaned into a few too many fake pro wrestling tropes: fake teams, spandex and bare chests, light show, fog machines, canned applause (I think), etc.  Any of these gimmicks on their own aren't so bad. (I actually really liked the idea of teams.) Together, kinda chintzy imo.

That said, the matches were great. My favorite was Jantzen vs Larkin. I haven't found it online yet.

I thought it was 'tacky' but I was excited to have wrestling on TV. It didn't take itself serious...

Agreed...Very cheesy on so many advertised levels but still made for an action-packed style template! I too, want to see you tube drop the Jantzen v Larkin video; a Real Pro Wrestling classic!! The team names were certainly part of the overall schtick!!

Anyone who ever thought pro wrestling undermined real wrestling must have thought pro wrestling wasn't choreographed.

I feel like it was in when I got home from school and I would watch it often. I remember watching it and thinking how good Mo Lawal was, but remember nothing else.  And then being upset in 2008 when Hrovat beat him at OTT.

Watched it PAX TV on Sunday late afternoon when each episode originally aired.  Not sure when any reruns were shown.
