Tragedy among Wrestlers

Is it just me or do we have more than our fair share of personal tragedies in our sport?  Some of the most tragic stories im aware of are in the wrestling world.  

Is this just in my imagination or

Is there any possible explanation for the causation/correlation?

Probably not.  Any sport represented by such a large spectrum of people has its own stories.  There’s more time to discuss it in wrestling due to all the stalling.

I guess its just me then.  Truly it seem to be very polarized - with many having great life success and also a higher number than expected facing death by accidental causes, drug overdoses, etc.

People who I know from outside of wrestling (which is like 99% of people I know) are very normal and don't have as much tragedy or success as wrestlers I know.

Well ... when folks are walking around flying cement all the time there's gonna be some tragedy.
