This was picked up over from the Cornell boards.  Sad news for the young man.  I wish him well and always enjoyed watching him wrestle.

Loew, who missed most of last season with a shoulder injury, received devastating news before this season began. Another shoulder injury caused a severed artery in that area, which decreased blood flow to his arm. Doctors soon after put a stent in and told Loew his wrestling career was over.

Hoping for a full recovery for the kid.

He's fully recovered, just won't wrestle again.  He's a student-advisor for the wrestling team this year.

Gotta feel for the guy, it's really tough to be finished with the sport before you're ready to hang it up. Hopefully, being a student advisor and staying involved with wrestling will help scratch that itch...

Same deal with Darmstadt, who was on a higher trajectory, and had to hang it up after only two college seasons due to injury.  He's now with Koll at UNC.
