100 Win Club - Active Wrestlers

Anyone know what the average number of matches a D1 wrestler who makes it to NCAAs has in a single season over, say, the last 5 years and how that compares with earlier periods?   I wonder if it is even more than 25, which makes getting a 100 wins extremely difficult in 4 years

With a Big Ten and NCAA title, I think Levi will end up right at 100 or slightly above.

If Levi wins the B1G tournament and a National championship, his college record will finish at 101-4, which would place him #10 on the Penn State career winning percentage list at 96.0%.

Dylan Shawver (Rutgers) passed the milestone a few weeks back.

George Mason had a graphic last week about 2 guys closing in on 100; I believe Messer and Duvall.  I want to say both were at 97 at the time.

Based on a sample of the 125 to 157 weights from 2023 to 2025, 26.7 wrestlers per bracket wrestled at least 25 matches. Of note, only 25.4 wrestlers per bracket did so in 2025. This is dwarfed by the 2017 bracket which had 30.4 wrestlers per bracket having at least 25 matches. The number has decreased 16.5% based on my samples from 2017 to 2025.
