I think so.  Sloan is behind Dean in coaches rank and RPI, though.  He is also behind Beard in coaches rank and RPI as well.  He has the winning percentage criteria over both.  He might have the quality wins, as well - not sure.

I think a strong case can also be made for Beard (Lehigh) as he has several wins over ranked wrestlers, his 2 losses were quality, and he is blitzing the field @ EIWA.

What Seed would Rocky be if he wins today ?

Why is the Big 12 NOT having 9th place matches @ 141 ?  All the other weight classes with 7 or more AQ's are wrestling thru 9th place.

141 & 149 (7 AQ's EACH)

165 & 285 (8 AQ's each)
