As preseeds come up, I am updating my interactive brackets so that you play out different scenarios and see how it effects team scoring

To advance wrestlers:
D = Decision
M = Major
T = Tech Fall
F = Fall (or any other combination of MFF, def., etc.)
X = Bye

Big 10 Interactive Bracket

Big 12 Interactive Bracket (this is obviously not 100% because I don't believe we know the random draws of the unseeded wrestlers until the day of the tournament)

Very nice. I definitely think Michigan is a sleeper to place high. Who do you have making the finals in this scenario?

Amine and Parris, that is all.  Amine over tOSU and Parris over the Hawkeye.

Everyone else except Maylor and Yatooma outplaces their seeds.

I think we see a lot of semi-slide MFF.  A guy like Kerk gains nothing by wrestling back.

It would impact his NCAA seed.  Conference tourney placement has a 10% contribution in the formula.

  1. Head-to-head competition — 25 percent
  2. Quality wins — 20 percent
  3. Coaches Ranking — 15 percent
  4. Results against common opponents — 10 percent
  5. RPI — 10 percent
  6. Qualifying event placement — 10 percent
  7. Win % — 10 percent

Is it different than years past?

In years past it was 'Champion, Placer, Next One Up'

Meaning 2nd in B1G was equivalent to 6th in the B12.
