I think this applies to most of our society.  Fox's already low credibility takes a big hit here, but their viewers are no different than the viewers of other commercial news outlets in the US.  They demand a narrative and reality goes by the wayside.

Fox's business model is pretty good. Their aren't any major competitors with a far right narrative, so half the market is theirs.
