In one county I pay 24.6% more than I did in 2020 and it’s up 32.9% in the other. Projections for 2027 are for increases of approx another 8% and 9%. Its sad. Flat tax with no deductions would be by far the best AND easiest way to do it. That way the freeloaders (the 45% that pay zero federal income tax) pay their fair share too.
