Why are buyers demanding such a high rate lately?

Surely, the US should have no problem paying its obligations without printing their way out of it. What's the concern? After all, our pedo prez has done a great job of balancing the budget.

How long has it been since the last time the communists shut down the gov’t to try and add more spending to the budget?  Longer than your memory?

Republican's control both chambers. They have equal fault for not being able to negotiate and govern when they have a supermajority over the 3 branches.

We are also still at the largest deficit in US History while the  GOP just cuts spending from social programs and reallocates to it things they like like a trillion dollar defense budget.

No one is serious about spending and budget in government on both aisles

Silly twerp, go play in the street.

sorry *trifecta.

still, gop controls all branches and are so bad at governing they can't push through their own bills with majority's in both chambers while claiming the country gave them an overwhelming mandate

Yeah, I asked a question:

Democrats have historically been less inclined to vote for spending cuts, but they did support some reductions during the 2011 Budget Control Act negotiations. The last significant instance of Democrats voting for spending cuts was in 2011, when they agreed to a deal that included budget reductions in exchange for raising the debt ceiling.

Care more about balancing budget, at least somewhat. Like not cutting taxes when you aren't cutting spending, like the scum wingers do.

You can increase revenue by cutting taxes when they are to high. But then that would just allow for the people you hate to have more success. Libs like taxes as a punitive measure.

110% wrong. That only works when taxes were already very high. At modern tax rates, cutting taxes always lowers revenue. Per the Laffer curve and data from recent tax cuts.

Well since you gave no specific information and specific tax but some how still agreed with me. I'll take that as a win. There certainly are taxes that when reduced increase revenue. Capital gains is a perfect example. When companies leave America we lose lots of revenue.
