Having some side matches were UFC guys wrestle that are on the old side of things is ok I am not a fan Guida and Edgar I could certainly do with out. But Covington Vs Tsurukyan is pretty good IMO. Its like there in a different level of RAF thats how I look at it no big deal. I am looking forward to seeing Woodley. There biggest issue is signing more current International talent. That isnt 35 Plus years old or hasn't wrestled in 4 years. But as you can see they are doing a pretty descent job of that now. The clubs, youth tournaments trying to use UFC talent to bring fans in. The Dakes of the world will now have a bigger profile and fan base. This is definitely not a bad thing by even a small margin. Can they sustain the salaries Not sure what they pay but it cant be bad for many of them. Fox Nation has to be replaced with a better partner or have the monthly's on that and a weekly or Bi weekly on fox, fox sports or something else more accessible 1
Yugdab Posted June 24 Posted June 24 wouldn't mind see a tournament like the UFC used to do. Would be exciting the winners would become bigger stars to the more casual fans that watch because of the UFC guys. maybe a bigger prize pool or title shot would be fun to watch

This is one of my favorite matches coming up. I still think Bo wins but I picked McEnelly to win the NCAA championship this past season…it’s going to be an awesome match. 1

LJB Posted July 8 Posted July 8 i totally forgot Davino was wrestling desanto next week... i would think it would have to be for the belt if davino wins, yes? my initial thought was belt shmelt, but, i really think RAF is is gaining enough traction that their belts are starting to matter... which, on the surface saying that might appear a bit condescending... but... even i am surprised with how crazy the upward trend of RAF has been so far and i can see a future where wrestlers may start making a choice between RAF and a more traditional path... nothing but good things... 2

Correct, the Davino vs DeSanto match should be for a belt
LJB Posted July 8 Posted July 8 that will be a very entertaining match... davino won their only meeting on the mat 3-0 a couple of years ago, but... desanto is wrestling better than he ever has in his life right now... not sure how that is seeing as though he is in a room with coaches who can not coach or develop a wrestler...
