I still might put JO above him

Considering he rightfully won three I'd agree with you. It's not often a rule is changed because of how unfair its application was.

2x champs I would rank over Levi Haines:

-John Smith

-Jordan Burroughs

-Ben Askren

-David Taylor

-Gable Steveson

-possibly Zahid Valencia and Isaiah Martinez

There are a lot of all-timers who won 2 NCAA championships.  Taking nothing away from Haines, as he might be one of those "all-timers" that we add to this list in a couple years.

Until Nolf pinned Martinez, there was a lot of talk about him equaling Cael's record.

Yeah aside from the obvious ones like Gable and Smith, I'd def put Oliver and Zahid above him as well.

Very true. Gave Levi the tiebreaker with the world silver.

How do you slot Kolat in the 2x champs conversation?

Upper level for sure

I think Levi's improvement over his career is telling of what we are gonna see him down after college. I hope it doesn't turn into a Derringer, where he ends up having guys at his weight class he just can't get past. Seems to me that Levi's only getting better and I think that continues on.
