  1. Past hour
  2. Welker coming out on Mat A for the last bout of the session (for both America and the session in general)
  3. China beats Italy 8 - 0; Jimenez is eliminated
  4. Maroulis looks better than she has in a while; she won the best of 3 Final X w/ 2 pins and has started world's w/ 2 pins. For those keeping score at home, that's 4 straight pins
  5. love this. spot on.
  6. China is beating Italy 2-0 at the break; bad for Jimenez
  7. Bullen is very good; and will be a tough repechage match for Kilty if it gets to that
  8. I wouldn’t call it “easily discerned as false,” but you are welcome to your opinion and there’s really no point in arguing.
  9. He needs to train with Brooks I guess
  10. This was big. Bullen from Norway may have been the favorite in the bracket.
  11. You know what sealed it for me for Hidlay? At NCAAs this year (when he was doing a great job on the mic and learning the trade) he was on the floor by himself during the finals. He was SO FRICKING PASSIONATE during Vincent Robinson's match, hooting and hollering and giving 140% support to his NC State teammate - yelling, shadow wrestling, jumping up and down and looking like a half lunatic. You could just see how much he cared, and when Robinson won he and some teammates went nuts. I spent almost as much time watching him as I did the match.
  12. WOW!! That's amazing! Two wins from a throwback world title on the 10th anniversary of her first.
  13. HELEN MAROULIS PINS JAPAN
  14. Helen hits her go to footsweep and has Japan on her back!
  15. Men's freestyle are locked into 2nd place with Woods' performance this morning. Iran are on 140, we're at 124, and Japan are at 106. All 3 nations have 2 guys going for medals today and will earn 5 more points for each win.
  16. Maroulis drives Japan out quick, 1 - 0
  17. I think Woods should be favored, but Biabani is an Iranian background former world junior champ who wrestled well yesterday. He kept things with Amouzad much tighter than Real did; and he got a nice win over Biliichuk, who won the mini bracket with beasts Naim, Rahimzada, and Guseinov. That said, if Real can keep his nerve and wrestle smart, he can definitely get the win.
  18. Maroulis coming out on Mat A
  19. Russia pins Norway; Kilty needs Russia to beat Mongolia in the semi's to be pulled into repechage
  20. Russia leading Norway 4 - 1 at the break (good for Kilty)
  21. Okay NOW we are starting quarters Mat C was straggling behind
  22. When Quarterfinals start, Helen Maroulis will be 2nd and Welker 4th; both on Mat A Italy and Russia will be 1st and 3rd on Mat D for repechage intereste
  23. This single comment is not fire worthy. His comment about Kirk being openly racist is a career limiting move as it is easily discerned as false.
  24. I am not saying he is a sad story, I am asking if a change of scenery is needed for him to continue growing in the sport. And why you gotta bring in a "GD" into the conversation!
  25. Don’t get burned out. Enjoy the journey. Enjoy life. Let the guy enjoy the ride. I take this as a sign that he is looking at the big picture and wrestling is not all consuming. He knows there is more to life and making great memories with friends matters. Great for him.
  26. Today
  27. I assume he is pointing out that there was little reaction to the death of the politicians that the masses had never heard of.
