This one has gotten a lot of play here in media. Even a nation wide show ran this one. Utterly embarrassing. mspart

I don't know much about Sadulaev. Maybe people can fill me in with some details. He's had an incredible career -- even with the turbulence he seems to have experienced. Eight-time world-level champs are few and far between. Only four other athletes have as many or more golds in freestyle. 2014- Gold 2015- Gold 2016- Gold 2017- Silver (lost to Snyder 5-6 after recently moving up a weight class) 2018- Gold 2019- Gold 2020- Gold 2021- Gold 2022- Country is banned 2023- Defaults to Taz while down 2-9; withdraws from tournament 2024- Gold (non-Olympic weight after being banned from Olympics; beat DT 7-0) 2025- Denied a Visa 2026- Bronze (lost to Snyder 4-4)

I think he’s referring to it in a wholistic sense…you’re speaking of guys that are all time GREATS and dudes that are not human. Overall the talent is at a higher level…sports science, techniques training and fighter knowledge…big gap in how well rounded guys are now.

you can't just get them at the door? I would be shocked if they sold out.

2026 UWW Men's Freestyle World Championships Discussion
Caveira replied to peanut's topic in International Wrestling
Fair. But flo can do what they want with the rights after they bought them. Not understanding the original complaint (not you for the record). How uww can demand / push what Flo does with what they bought is weird man is all -
Willie and Basch were arguing about this on a recent show, so I thought I'd clear things up. Lucia Yamileth Yepez Guzman (born 2001, current RAF Women's Strawweight Champion) is an Ecuadorian wrestler who took 53kg silver at the 2024 Olympics after losing to Akari Fujinami in the finals: https://uww.org/athletes/yepez-guzman-lucia-yamileth Yusneylis Guzman Lopez (born 1996) is a Cuban wrestler who took 50kg silver at the 2024 Olympics after losing to Sarah Hildebrandt in the finals: https://uww.org/athletes/guzman-lopez-yusneylis Guzman vs. Guzman never happened, and the closest it ever came to happening was when both competed at 50kg in the 2021 Olympics (Lucia Yamileth Yepez Guzman went 1-2 and placed 8th, Yusneylis Guzman Lopez went 0-2 and placed 12th)

I'm all for that but if someone wants to disparage a fellow Christian for being a Christian I will defend both.

Sure, they learned to strike. But if they were looking to ground and pound instead of spending 6 months in a gym with a professional bag holder who builds them up to think they are boxers, they would do much better. Gable Steveson shouldn't be trading blows with a striker. He is an Olympic Champ and should be getting the guy to the mat and fighting the fight in his dominant positions. Chael was a good blueprint for a wrestling style that works in MMA.
-
What have you done for me lately? How about currently? Do you think those guys learned to strike? (Gaethje) Get a good sprawl and/or a good escape and guys have been able to negate wrestling in the last few years. And most of the "wrestlers" have learned to strike...

he toiled on with faith and pluck and when he won, men called it luck, and mocked him for whatever transgression they see fault in this week

The fighters aren't better. I'd take a Jon Jones in his prime (2012-2015) over anyone in the 205 or HWT division in a heartbeat. I'd take GSP over anyone at his weight right now. I'd take Anderson Silva over anyone at his weight. I'd take a 2015 Cormier over anyone at 205. Strickland is one of the worst champs we've ever had skill wise. Also, Gaethje disagrees that being a good wrestler with a strong read hand isn't enough to carry you to a title anymore. The reason there might be a shift in what the current champs background is can be traced to the internationalization of the sport. Nothing more.

sounds like leftists think rules are only for rule following people.

You said it better than I could.

If you aren't a Christian why are you judging him against a standard you reject? He attempted to engage in a consensual exchange of services for money. What's so bad about that? If you think he was immortal but rejected the standard of morality maybe it's you who is the hypocrite?
-
It’s a trick question homie…you can’t determine whether they do or don’t view your sins as bad as his because if you don’t believe in God then you don’t have any basis for a moral standard besides your own. You’re either just giving your opinion or borrowing from the Christian faith you denounce…
-
I dont understand your first question. do I think if people knew my worst sins theyd think my sins are as bad Snyders? No I dont think they would, because they aren't. Ive never done anything to that level. I believe in God but no I am not Christian.
-
Do you think anyone knowing about your worst deeds and decisions would draw a different conclusion about you? Are you even a Christian?
-
as always the devil is in the details, and it's those details that show how completely awful libs are. 110 percent political abuse of power. Those 34 bs felonies got Trump elected and the doubling down has destroyed the libtard brand. So thanks for your useful idiocy.
-
There a huge gap from perfect to scumbag. What Snyder did falls under scumbag. I wouldnt be ok with it no matter who did it but that doesn't make him any less of a hypocrite. You should have your house in some kind of order before you start walking around spouting off about being a godly man. We all sin but to pretend some aren't greater than others is disingenuous and obnoxious.
-
Giving him the benefit of the doubt here I’m sure what he’s saying is that God has surrounded him with people and opportunities that allowed him to learn more techniques and things. I haven’t watched the clip but was it right after the match or something? People tend to speak poorly in those moments. If he actually thought God taught him new techniques then yea…
-
Any idea when single match tickets will go on sale?
-
Thats part of it. The other part of it is the game has changed and the fighters are better. Being a strong wrestler with a threatening rear hand isnt enough to carry you to a title anymore. Which means more time is required to transition and that coupled with guys chasing wrestling success more and coming in older (as you mentioned) is not a great recipe for a highly successful MMA career.

Let me when you find the perfect Christian. Apparently you would be ok if he did those as a non believer.
