You guys are focussing on freestyle earlier which is helping you guys with junior level success. The razer sharp conditioning that you get from folk is showing. Completely deserved u17 and u20 title wins. It's just frustrating that our guys are performing so poorly.
-
I don't have a problem with the style it comes down to everything else. Compared to the American guys their conditioning is woeful and the wrestling IQ is virtually non-existant from half of these guys that competed. The only wrestler that has impressed me is Ahoura Khateri and even he purposely handicapped himself for no reason in his earlier matches. It feels like their is a big disconnect between what the coaches want from our guys and them actually performing it.

I think, with this tournament under his belt, that a lot of folks are seeing Luke in a different light. The kid works HARD for his craft... and always seeking improvement. Don't underestimate him. D3

-
Hmm... just looked at the 61Kg bracket and the score for the Blaze/Begoyan match didn't show Begoyan as being DQ'd at all. Cautioned out? D3
-
The DQ wasn't for brutality, it was for three cautions. So he wasn't punted from the tournament.

AND Begoyan (Slapppy) blitzed the Switzerland wrestler w/ a 10-0 TF. Keep on slappin' D3
-
Meanwhile... Fouse was TF'd by Turkyie and is bounced out of repechage rounds. Oh well... D3
-
Wow... Slappy the Armenian is wrestling in the repechage match. I thought his DQ would disqualify him from the rest of the tournament. I guess not, eh? D3

I think most of Mohammad’s marriages were political. Aisha’s father was one of the most powerful men of the time, and Mohammad was just a shepherd claiming to be a prophet. Marrying her definitely boosted his influence. Even before that, his marriage to Khadijah - who was old enough to be Aisha’s mother, maybe even her grandmother in an age when girls married super young - was clearly political too, since she was a wealthy merchant. I’m sure politics played a role, and probably desire as well. I don’t know if Abu Bakr had other daughters, but if he did, I don’t get why Mohammad went for Aisha instead of, say, a 20-year-old daughter (if there even was one). Anyway, I’m not really an expert on Islamic history, so these are questions you should ask someone who’s actually a Muslim or claims to know the history. But no matter how I look at it, whether it was politics or desire, what Mohammad did still makes a hell of a lot more sense than believing a woman had a baby without ever having sex.
