  1. It seems like it has already started! The first big name in the portal is Taye Ghadiali, he’s also listed as do not contact. Campbell: Taye Ghadiali, HWT, SR I’m guessing Michigan.
  2. Is this true? There were talks of him leaving last year but he is planning on leaving next year?
  3. Jude Correa to Cornell and Vince Bouzakis to Pitt !! I believe those are the last top Big boarders! I’m surprised that Vince chose Pitt, especially with the mutual interest between Lehigh and him. What happened there ? @Husker_Du Exctied to see how all these big boarders perform on the next level!
  4. I know it happened a couple of days ago but Harvey Ludington to Iowa!! The last 2 big boarders remaining are Jude Correa and Vince Bouzakis! Excited to see where they land!
  5. Oh that’s awesome, I respect that. I wonder what made him want to go to Lehigh so badly. Big fan of Lehigh while growing up? Coaching staff? Close to home? Wish him the best wherever he goes, I’m excited to see him at the next level!
  6. I’m surprised bigger schools like Iowa and Nebraska didn’t push hard to recruit him. Iowa is in need of a 165 lber after Caliendo/Kennedy graduate, to my recollection they don’t have anyone sitting in the wings after they graduate. So I’m interested to see who will fill that hole. At least Nebraska has LJ Aruaujo, who can maybe fill 165? Idk if he has outgrown it though. I’m interested to see where Ludington lands! My guess is either of the big schools, Michigan or Iowa. I’m curious to see which school will best suit his style, culture, personality, and work ethic. Whoever lands the 3 remain big prospects will be gaining a great wrestler! Appreciate the insight Willie! Thankful for the brain! @Husker_Du
  7. Woah, I didn’t know Aaron Stewart was moving up to 175. I thought he was going to be a 165 lber in college. I guess he will be 174/184 in college. Give me Stewart to come out on top
  8. Harvey Ludington visited OU, North Carolina and NCSt. He also is currently visiting Iowa right now and is expected to visit Michigan. I know Michigan and Iowa are both in need of a 197 lber. They do have commitments in Veazy and the Miller twins though. Veazy seems to be more built for 184, he’s been at 182 for 2 years while in Indiana and only wrestled at opens (if my memory best serves me) last year while at Ponderosa. It would be hard for someone of his size to stop growing and stay in the 180s, So I wouldn’t be shocked if he is 197. I don’t know how hard they recruit Ludington if they have a commitment in Veazy and Veazy seems more likely to grow into 197. Of course they can have either of them go 184 and the other go 197. Would be a great combo. Iowa has the Miller Twins, Jarrell seems to be in trajectory of going 197. So it would be a log jam but it would be a nice problem to have. The top dog PSU always has these good problems and look at them. Ludington seems more like a polished recruit, no disrespect but speaking from a perspective of accolades, and that would be a massive pickup. He seems to fit the Iowa mold and that would be a killer lineup with Arnold, Ferrari, Ludington, and Kueter. If they want to inch a little closer to PSU they need a recruit like him. Michigan and Iowa should be all in on this guy, he’s definitely a must get. @Corby @Husker_Du what are your thoughts? I love the Big board and recruiting, that’s why I always ask you because of the great insight and brain that you have
  9. Hey @Husker_Du any update on these 3 studs?!?
  10. If my memory serves me best that was his brother that wrestled 152 at folk nationals.
  11. Blaze to PSU Congratulations and wish him the best! but that still leaves 3 other big recruits on the Big Board. Harvey Ludington, Jude Correa, and Vince Bouzakis. Which is crazy because they were all committed to some big schools. @Husker_Du do you know where they are leaning or who is reaching out? These are major recruits that can help boost any program! Excited for what’s to come
  12. Appreciate the response @Husker_Du! I was going to be surprised if the bigger schools didn’t contact him, especially Iowa because they would have a hole once Caliendo/PK graduate. Bouzakis is such a great recruit, I feel like that is such a major loss for tOSU. Anyone would be lucky to land him, wish him the best! Hopefully Iowa is all over him
  13. What’s the smoke with Vince Bouzakis decommitting from Ohio State? Is this true? If this is true, do you know which schools are after him? If I’m any big school, I would be all in home. Especially people who need a 157/165 like Iowa, Minnesota, and more tbh. @Husker_Du
  14. He’s at University of North Carolina as their Recruiting Coordinator
  15. It’s official, Chris Cannon announced he is heading back to Northwestern! ️
  16. Nikade Zinkin to Nebraska!! All that remains is Blaze and Dorian (if he chooses to wrestle collegiately).
  17. Didn’t even include IowaSt; but them as well. You get the idea, major universities have been doing the same. And you can have the same comment for them all and questioning their loyalty.
  18. Yeah, I understand but that has happened at a lot of the top five programs. Look at Penn St., Michigan, and OkieSt. Penn State got Mesenbrink and clearly had Facundo and Barraclough there. Both who showed a loyalty to the program and could easily start at any program. They also brought in Greg K when they had Seth Nevills. In which both Barraclough and Nevills both eventually transferred out. I feel like Beard transferring out was a little different because it is said that Max Dean came to PennSt. Without being recruited. Also, they brought in Aaron N. And Bernie. Some can argues the staff’s loyalty as well. Michigan brought in 5 transfers last year. DeAugustino, Cannon, Gomez, Griffith, and Davidson. They had room guys who could fill those voids. Fidel Mayora could’ve filled 149 and he has been extremely loyal to the Wolverines and they brought in Gomez second semester. They also had a slew of people who could man 125-141 and brought those same transfers. Michigan has had a few people transfer out last year such as Lamer and Kurt Mchenry…You can argue the loyalty of the staff here as well. Same with Okie St (not going to write a big passage about this as well). Everyone is playing the same game. The narrative changes based off of the university lol; but we can’t act like other universities are not doing the same. Of course loyalty is something to be questioned but it seems like a lot of bigger universities will put out the best of the product even if that means they will get transfers.
  19. 8 of them were room guys and not going to start; but to say the least, I’m super excited to see how they excel at their new schools! Especially Cobe, Bretli, and Joel
  20. Bradley Hill to Oklahoma
  21. Non the less, I’m excited to see him compete for Little Rock!
  22. How is he able to transfer without being in the portal? Do the rules alter due to him being released (kicked off) from the team?
  23. Didn’t want to make a whole thread and thought it fit this thread.
  24. So what’s the whole thing with OSU reaching out to Ayala. Heard that rumor and was wondering if there was anything truth to it? @Husker_Du
  25. Remaining top 50 are Blaze, Olivarez, and Zinkin. Any insight on where these guys may land @Husker_Du? Blaze - tOSU, PSU, any else? Olivarez - Probably will not wrestle after high school due to his trajectory in jujitsu. Is this a done deal for him not wrestling college? Zinkin - My guess is OSU or Nebraska
