    Another thing that’s happening is women’s wrestling is being built with the ideal structure for greater success at worlds. If this works, and they are gaining interest from what I read here, it’s going to be hard to look away from objective results

    How do the Russians prepare? Is their system centralized or regional/individual? I think we used to centralize training and preparation in Colorado Springs until private dollars flowed into the rtc (really college recruiting banners)

    Now it’s time for this thread. can changes be made, or has our golden era aged out? Time to make freestyle more professional and less dependent on college dollars? What does this look like? Where does the money come from? Or if we want to get serious about this, switch to both international styles and wrestle it at all levels.

    I love Burroughs said Dake uses science to keep himself going. lol thats called pseudoscience. And whatever works mentally for Dake is what’s driving him. and that’s quite effective for his age. Keep it going one or two more years. He may have to lose trials to retire

    Twilight of the golden age is upon us. Maybe gable comes back and rekindles magic in the team? yianni to grow some triceps? Maybe brooks can grow into the style and dominate? Dake might make one or two more years of worlds. Snyder has another Olympic cycle in him.

    The other thing I noticed was Kyle was exhausted at the end. That’s a big concern too if he’s to beat taz. Not many people have ever done that to Snyder

    He’s got a taz problem more than an offense problem. Taz beat him silly with Kyle’s offense last year

    The GEO after beating the Ukrainian last round himself raised the UKR hand to the crowd. Thought it was a class move in the spirit of the games
