Little is awesome, could definitely beat Merrill. I like both of them. Respect Little a ton for staying loyal to Little Rock and Erisman. Probably could have gotten a small bag somewhere else

Would love to see: USC - everyone hates USC so they would be born a great villain. Tulsa - so much wrestling happens around Tulsa it’s wild they don’t have a wrestling team. Boise State bring it back - was a nice program and Idaho has enough wrestling talent to support it. BYU bring it back - they have really good attendance across most sports so would likely get good attendance. Plus multiple wrestling programs already have the same types of restrictions BYU has. Georgia Tech - engineering schools love leverage and wrestling is growing in Georgia

A few recently that come to mind 2026: Hepworth vs Messenbrink, Hepworth having the stretcher pulled out for him on the mat, only to shake off what looked like a neck injury and keep wrestling and give Messenbrink one of his toughest matches in the last 2 years. Just funny to me because I thought he was about MFF out and then I think MM didn’t even bonus him. Cesar Alvan pinning Dee Lockett was crazy as hell. Big move 2025: Blood round 157, Caleb Fish vs Brandon Cannon, went to OT and Fish threw him for the win to AA. Regular season Iowa vs Nebraska dual when Lenny Pinto and Patrick Kennedy scored like 28 points between them, Pinto went up big, then Kennedy came back big then Pinto put it on again.

Chris Perry was a multi-sport athlete in high school, had like 3,000 yards rushing and was playing varsity his freshman year at a 6A high school. He’s a great athlete. I think Mark Sr. even said on a podcast a few years ago that he was the bigger, more athletic of the two. 184 lately has some guys that I think are great at never losing and horrible at doing anything offensively
