The other guys on the flowrestling show really dig him out of some less than plausible opinions. On his own, I consider it more comedy than insight with some of the crap he says. That being said, I really do find his match commentary a benefit to the overall production of the matches. Outside of the Big 10 guys, I find him much better than almost anyone with televised duals. He has improved quite a bit and I do think he deserves a lot of credit. When I am watching matches that dont have commentary, I find it a net loss and not as refined or professional when the flow guys are commenting

I noticed something in those behind the scenes videos. He was goofing off to a HS cringe level. Maybe that works for him, he did win against Dake, but I wouldnt want to be stuck on a bus for 3 hours with him like that. Could have been nerves.

I left the OTC right prior to the 2012 games. It was very evident what changed. They stopped incentivizing D1 All Americans to wrestle greco. We had very good success with D1 guys. When they stopped getting rewarded for wrestling greco, we started sliding.

Rubber knee has nothing to do with the knee joint; its hip rotation. Ball & socket joint vs a hinge joint. I agree though; its a defensive cop out but refs fall for it every time. Same with the bow and arrow turn in FS. Just yell out and the ref will instantly stop the match.

They absolutely do. More so than many sponsorship teams or RTC's in wrestling.
