  1. Tsirtsis journey is still one of the more distinct memories I have of first getting into the sport heavily. Glad he is doing so well for himself nowadays.
  2. Amar Dhesi Dustin Kilgore BJ Clagon Last one especially hits a nerve. Being from New Jersey & seeing how Clagon performed his senior year into freshman year at Rider was absolutely insane. To think he was considered a title threat to Zain at one point, and then didn't even qualify for NCAA's in his final year is still mind-boggling to think about.
  3. CT traffic is a hell I wish upon not even my worst enemy.
  4. at what weight..?
  5. Like James Gandolfini before him! This also wouldn't shock me.
  6. As someone who's followed him since the start of his high school career, I am curious if Dean Peterson finally puts it all together for a podium run at Iowa or ends up more on the Parco/Teemer end of portal grabs for the Hawks.
  7. Yeah Suriano's an interesting case with all this. So damn talented, and yet really does not give off the impression that he wants to do much with the sport at this point. Yet, he continues to enter tournaments. I guess it's what keeps us all entertained. That being said - there's a reason people were calling him Nicky Dahmer at one point. Often feels like he's often trying to imitate what he thinks a charismatic person is.
  8. Man the Happy Valley bunkers must be really hard to find if Carter is still laying this low.
  9. God, that is somehow even more brutal than it was last year. Anybody who ends up on the podium at this weight has more than earned it.
  10. Yea he has a good chance as does Brock Zurawski from rider 1x NJ 7th place finisher and was MAC champ and knocked off wyatt Volker at ncaas as a freshman last season SCW's ascent to this status was one that nobody around the Jersey Shore could've seen coming. Hope he keeps up the momentum. Zurawski did it as an undersize 97 too! Apparently bumped up after losing a wrestle-off to Dean. Wonder if he goes to 84 this season or not.
  11. He has started twice in his RU career! 2x NCAA qualifier, narrowly losing to Paniro in wrestlebacks this year.
  12. Wow. I forgot about those two being there. It is wild to think that neither Clark nor Olivieri have gotten on the podium yet in their careers.
  13. His story has been a really great one to watch as a Jersey wrestling fan. I think he was a lock to win a state title as a senior before injuries derailed him that season.
  14. It just is damn near impossible to take anything BoJob Nickal says seriously anymore. Can he just take the inevitable turn to Skip Bayless-level troll commentator already?
  15. Troy Heilman made the podium as a senior without ever winning a state title in NJ... multi-time runner-up though.
