As a current South Philly resident, I think you might be mixing things up. Penn is located along the beginning of what is West Philadelphia, which yeah... not exactly the greatest right now (but not the worst in the area; that distinction goes to North Philly/Kensington). South is pretty tame by comparison.

First NCAA's... currently live in South Philly, so it shouldn't be too bad of a commute.

I think what we just witnessed was a "hitting the wall" moment for USA Wrestling. Don't get me wrong, we have had a great decade+ since JB won gold, and we still had some great performances out of our guys in Paris. However, any great dynasty has these moments where expectations are not met. I think that we will see a changing of the guard over the next few years that will hopefully motivate that next step in keeping our usual expectations of championships going.

HARD AGREE. Snyder will forever be my first GOAT; that person who really got me to care about wrestling beyond the high school and even college level. It is absolutely crazy how quick we are with turning on our team like this when it comes time for the big show.
