I hope they stay around forever. They are damn good for wrestling. Him, dresser and Ryan are the most entertaining coaches in the game. The other coaches act like they’re protecting nuclear codes lol.

Losing Bo and Melvin doomed this program. Not saying they would have put them over psu but I think that was the nail in the coffin. I like the integrity but unfortunately college coaches can’t have and don’t have integrity. He should have broken any and every rule to get them. Sad to say but it’s the way it is.

It will be interesting how they juggle those line weights in the next few years. They’ll have the talent from 125-165 to compete with psu in two or three years. Maybe 125-174 if Lockett and everyone else behind him bumps up a weight. With Ross at HW. They’ll be tough but 174-197 isn’t going to get it done at the highest level. If they all bump up then 184 and 197 still aren’t going to be quite good enough. That would have won them a championship a few years ago but now psu roles 10 deep.

If duals decided the team championship the sport would be so much better off. They could make it have a march madness feel. It’d be crazy.

He’s doesn’t? I really like him tho for a psu wrestler. There are rs freshmen’s nowadays that are almost as old as him. College wrestling is the worse about that. If he wins another one then he’s top 10 easy. I don’t think there’s anyway he’s making some Mount Rushmore of wrestlers tho. And as much as I hate to that silver medal came at a non Olympic weight and they’re just notoriously easier to medal at. It’s why we have a history of medaling at 61(anyone), 70, (Green Zain) 79 (anyone) , 92( anyone). While we have a much harder time medaling at the Olympic weights. He’ll always be a silver medalist and I love his style. I would love for him to go down to 74 and be our rep and win Olympic gold. But the weights you do it at matters.
