  1. They believe there is a chance he has some eligibility left, how? I don't know. There is a chance he has a minimum of a year left, maybe 2.
  2. ALL the talent in the world, athletic as hell. They might be able to work it out of him.
  3. The last thing I would point out. Dresser needs to be careful that there is not a Cuban vs American's stand off in there. I won't go into a ton of details, as I was previously white-knighted here for sharing too many details. However, I will say that Ech's brother is a significant source of friction in there. Osmany wanting to be treated like a prima donna is another one. Dresser doesn't stand for it, and rips Osmany, but it isn't like he is an 18 year old kid. We will see. I am pulling for them, I think Dresser is one of the best out there and they have a great group of donors.
  4. Like I said, I like his political side, but now I feel dirty liking him after watching that last night. I mean, that is the lowest of low IMO. They were just kids. Strauss's boss writing the letter and making that other guy feel like a liar is whole life, is another travesty. That whole show was tough to watch. The hockey player, geezzuus that was rough to listen to.
  5. I really don't know. I just see that log jam 133-165 and I wonder if someone couldn't get big enough to challenge him. Dresser loves MJ, and that is ok, but MJ has not progressed IMO. Riggins cant beat him, if he did, it would be really close. MJ at least gives a chance for bonus.
  6. I think he got so far down the hill, he could not turn around and admit he knew. I liked JJ, but man this is really a bad look for him
  7. as mentioned before, he got a little extra $$ last year to go down to 141, but got sick. Jacob got a shot, and the rest is history. Depending on how big everyone gets and how they move around, Gaitan could be at risk losing a spot at 174. IMO that is the weak link. If Ortega gets eligibility, which is a long shot, that will be your 133 starter, nobody in that room can touch him that is around his weight. If that happens, next year there will be transfers. Frost bros are outstanding dudes, and they do EVERYTHING right. But both spots will be up for grabs. Riggins won't see the mat again
  8. That was tough to watch, Strauss's boss was an A hole too.
  9. This will all be interesting. 125 will be Stevo. 133, man I just don't see this as a guarantee, on paper it should be, but I promise Osmany gives everyone in that room all they want at 133. His hurdle is food, and he is not disciplined at all. Grice is much better at 133 than 125, and hell I heard Meza wants to go 133 now. 141-174. Euton is really, really tough. He is not flashy by any means, but he is hard-nosed tough. There are so many ways that line up good go. There will be some good kids watching from the chairs this year, which is a great problem to have.
  10. He hasn't signed yet, I wonder if they pass on him now. I know the kid, but like many, he cannot handle his booze. Great kid when not drinking, and I THOUGHT he had out grown this $hit. Really disappointing.
  11. I can tell you, the rumor is Ech wants to go 141 next year. He got a little extra $$ to go 141 last year and then he got sick. Now, as you stated, it only makes sense to have Frost 141, but Ech is not big at all. He weighed around 148 after practice.
  12. This Chittum deal has me baffled. ISU was PISSED he was leaving, I know that. Everyone knew it was going to be bad because the way Chittum was acting at the dinner after nationals. BUT, why Chattanooga? I know he is from that area, but you are taking that over ISU? Did he think he had a spot at OSU then the door closed and this was his last option? I just don't get it. BUT chattanooga is quietly buidling a decent squad for the SOCON
  13. I am not even an OKIE STATE fan, but Iowa needs to recognize they will be next in line for top dog, not Iowa.
  14. they wanted Koll, he turned it down, then they wanted Hahn, he turned it down. Then they were just gonna keep Heflin, told him he had the job "verbally" and he went off to coach U23 or something like that, brought Kish in quietly and offered him the job.
