  1. 2000 Blair had Cooperman, Esposito, Backes, and Mocco…..pretty good group. 2001 same group and add Robbie Preston. Blair early 2000s was ridiculous. 2009 had Grey, Villalonga, and Ruth. All really good groups.
  2. Steibers, tessari, and Phillips went to Monroeville not Ed’s.
  3. Truzz - small world. Attended 98-02.
  4. I went to Duquesne it was like a city in a city, that was much more my pace. But still a big fan of Pitt and the burgh. Loved NCAAs there, it was my sons first one.
  5. Pittsburgh is a great town, I know I liked it and western PA and PA in general is amazing in terms of wrestling. Hard to say no to that. Personally, I don’t love Pittsburgh campus because it’s so spread out but Pittsburgh is awesome as a city IMO. Imagine would be cool to have your support system there all the time as well. tough decisions for these kids which is why I am a fan of moving that date back which Willie alluded to.
  6. Wrestling Fan- I get it but would be awesome to see. Crazier things have happened and you never know what kids are looking for. Mind you, this is on me, but I’ve never understood proximity being a pull for a kid but it is a thing. Most kids travel all over to wrestle and I would think that travel is not a big deal but I think it’s is a thing (I’m just weird and don’t get it). That being said kids staying close to home or having a school with a great program in their major are a thing. Never know how that hits when it comes to a kid. Also, I’d think a kid like Sidun could go there and be the guy right away for 4 years, that has to have some appeal as well.
  7. Great to see Pitt in the fray. Would be cool to see them land Sidun.
  8. Mizzou- I get it, I think with roster caps we see more pressure to get kids early, which leads to more drama later imo. And it’s not anyone’s fault it’s just kind of this shifting paradigm and it’s very new for programs. I think maybe some kids are harder to vet in this process. We shall see, but I’m guessing things heat up pretty good post S32.
  9. Could see Ohio State, wonder if Rudis can help him? He’s a Rudis sponsored athlete and maybe that is a way around Deloitte? IDK, that’s just a legit ? But guess we shall see. wonder where Miller projects? Of note all three have an Olympic shirt to use bc they are all world medalists. A team would really have to have a solid plan for all that, which is just an observation.
  10. Melvin Miller visiting NU and Bo as well, wonder what happens there. Bo’s list was 3 and millers is like 6 wonder if that means Bassett has 6 now ? Hoping to see things heat up soon.
  11. Truzz- yes brothers and yes both very good. Great 1/2 punch for recruiting for Mizzou if they can make it happen. Don’t normally see brothers not go together in a situation like this, so again seems imminent. Good for Mizzou!
  12. Mizzou- you’d have to think that’s imminent.
  13. Home visits and campus visits starting to heat up now. Especially with FB season coming up. Interesting to see who verbals where. Iowa, Isu, and UNI have been busy per IAWrestle on Rokfin, as they have been pretty good about reporting and posting.
  14. He just made 134 flat two days in a row so has to be closer to 33 than 41 but 33 could be a pull during B10 dual season. But I agree he’s big for 33 for sure. VanDee or Hardy pick your poison I guess. Nebraska also has incoming Frosh Hockaday who is really really good listed at 33 on their roster as well who will RS.
  15. Agree and makes sense. Ayoub just won bronze at U20, should be a good battle and a good battle of styles too. Either way with stuff like this you wonder if a guy portals after one way or another.
  16. They look similar for sure in terms of body style etc. I only watched his final and he about died in the final from exhaustion. Hit some outside step for sure as well which Dean has in his bag of tricks. I sent this to Dean, I will see what he says and let you know. THX!
  17. The visits in the state of Iowa have been picking up with Dhabolt, Youngblutt, the lightweight (cant remember name off hand), and Schwab all getting some visits from the Iowa Schools UNI, ISU, and Iowa. The state of Iowa has a really good class for 2027. Also saw Hayden S visiting Cornell here soon. Be interesting to see where all of these kids land. Really good coverage on IAWrestle on rokfin, shout out to Ross Bartachek, he does a really good job with that site.
  18. Truzz- Ayoub is hard to get a hold of and really good with that open double from space after clearing the tie. He had a pretty good HS career. I think he is tall for 133 right? Could be problems for guys.
  19. Mizzou- I would get the Rokfin sub, really good content and a lot of it. Lots of intermat stuff on there and Willie's stuff is in there too. Also, IA Wrestle along with others really good too. Lots of info on states and recruiting. PNL is on there too, all around really good. I feel it is well worth the money, for sure. Would much rather spend on that than other streaming services.
  20. Mizzou- It is ok Rokfin, on intermat's rokfin page. Mizzou is on quite a few lists, which should not be a huge surprise as they do an awesome job. I wonder how these lists grow or shrink in the next month and a half. Gonna be busy visits season soon. Things should heat up!!
  21. Intermat has an updated list on schools for some of the Big Board guys, there are some updates to that list. Pretty good info for those following it closely.
  22. Not sure if I saw him in there but Ferrari from Iowa would obviously be a guy with huge immediate impact as well.
  23. Should see Kyler Larkin in at ASU as well. Would think he would be an immediate impact guy. He is coming off a greyshirt as well. Those two in the lineup will make ASU better right away.
  24. Mizzou- I think they may be doing theirs a little later. I think schools differ on visits etc in terms of when they do them. However, I am very interested to see how quickly verbals start to come due to roster cap situations.
  25. MN Rodent- any word on who the gophers visited?
