Tournament just wrapped up… -
Also a rule to live by…Snitches get Stitches…you’re getting nothing out of me.

Why’s it got to be White?

Buckeye Breakdown of today’s opening tournament (Clarion Open): 125 - Kilkeary pinned his first two opponents before TF’ing the #4 seed Davidheiser (Bucknell) in the semis. He faced our very own Dom whose path to the finals included a couple TF’s into the semis where he beat #2 Rivera (UTV) by 5-1 decision. Kilkeary would win the finals match 8-3… Also of note, Teequavious Mills went 0-2 while Antonio Mills finished 3rd. He avenged his early round loss to #2 Rivera (UTV) in the Consi-Semis before beating #4 seed Davidheiser (Bucknell) in the medal match by MD. 133 - No Entries 141 - Karson Brown entered the tournament as the #5 seed and TF’ing his opening opponent before losing to #1 seed (and eventual Champion) Carter Nogle (Air Force) 1-0. He would split in the consi’s and not place. Bouzakis entered as the #2 seed and easily winning his first two matches before dropping a (1) point match to our very own Brogan Fielding. Bouzakis would drop his Consi-Semi match and get pinned in his 5th place medal match. Fielding would take his semifinals win from Bouzakis and lose the final by MD to Nogle. 149 - Maddox Shaw and Daxton Chase were the #1 and #2 seeds respectively. Shaw would roll through his side of the bracket to reach the finals. Daxton not so much…close matches to the semis where he dropped a close one to the #3 seed Worthley (UTV). He’d then lose to unseeded Gregersen (Air Force) and place 4th. Shaw would win the finals in a 6-5 match against Worthley…this weight seems wide open for the Buckeyes who still have Big Bro Brown out there as a returning qualifier from Pitt last year. 157 - Cannon was Cannon…TF’s and Falls through the bracket to claim the title. 165 - Stiles looks to be adapting to the weight well…TF and MD’s into the finals. Won his finals match against a solid Moses Espinoza-Owens (UTV) 9-5. 174 - Jaxson Smith was fine for his first tournament as a Buckeye…got a first round bye then MD and (near loss) in a 1-0 win against #5 Kaden King (LIU). Dropped his finals match to Moses brother Marcus Espinoza-Owens (UTV) 4-2. 184 - Carson Mize would upset #2 seed Adrian Gacek (Clarion) on his way to the finals before dropping a 9-6 decision in SV to #1 seed Caleb Uhlenhopp (UTV). 197 - Xander Myers (unseeded) would upset the #2 and # 3 seeds on his way to the finals to face fellow teammate and #1 seed Ryder Rogotzke. Ryder would pin every opponent of his to include Myers for the title…not surprising knowing Ryder… Heavy - Freshman and late signee Cliff Nicholson would go 0-2 in his debut. HOWEVER, Feldman does Feldman things…TF’s and MD’s to through the bracket to earn his title.

You rang? Gotta be honest though I’m not the grammar police…I know by law I have to tell you that if you ask…
-
All true…no one would have blamed him if he transferred as a 133 somewhere else but he’s a Buckeye through and through. A loyalty that’s becoming a rare commodity…
-
Agh…yea I’d use the term great very loosely there. And I’m sure Kyle would as well…if in fact he is Christian, repentant and all that. The relationship is not unreasonable but the accurately describing it I agree…that is impossible. Faith indeed…
-
I take it seriously but you took a question like “Can someone who doesn’t believe in God tell you what a relationship with God is, how it should look or most importantly what it feels like?” and completely try to wordsmith and avoid an honest answer. Regardless of the topic, but especially such an important one, most people are not going to take the advise or develop things within their life based on the words and opinions of those that have never experienced it let alone believe it’s possible/real. You’re smart but your trying to win a debate where there is none..I’m also trying to speak to you and not at you so I apologize if what I did say came off as dismissive. The conversation started getting steered in the direction of things we can’t define or understand…humbly.
-
I haven’t seen that but I don’t think anyone’s arguing that…
-
The question does not have to prove anything…it is merely a question. It could be as simple or complicated as one would like…but this one was pretty generalized and easy. All the “ignore this” or “ignore that” and “we haven’t defined love” and all the dance that’s pretty standard in these conversations is deflection and prideful in most cases. Yea most guys willing to go online and debate these things are really smart dudes but I’m telling you they/we couldn’t define love if we tried. We’ve never felt anything like it before…saying God must do this because of this or putting limits on him is another coping mechanism to try and make yourself understand. You can’t, I can’t…no one can fully understand and it’s OK. We can experience all these relationships with each other but we can’t with God because he’s what? Incapable of letting us? Nah I don’t put limits on what a limitless God can do…I just say I can’t understand it all and like relationships I know his is likely different with everyone…
-
Smith man…don’t do this to us all season. All off season all we’ve heard is he’s a quite killer and professional…we need that consistency in the mid-uppers…
-
He’s an Max Preps all Ohio guy in football as well…he switched his focus back to that…he’s as solid commit to the Buckeyes as you could ask for though…we’ll see him soon enough
-
Seemingly so at 141 despite my apparent over optimism in Brown… I think 149 is still a toss up…if we’re using transitive properties Shaw only beat Worthley 6-5 who beat Chase 5-3…which all those matches could have gone any way. Not sure what’s going on with Big Bro Brown but he’s a qualifier from last year and should have something to say about it all…
-
125…he doesn’t really have any business being there. Struggled last year with cuts in his senior year and we have depth there…let him back up Davino, grow and learn. He’s a bit raw still.
-
Karson Brown with the DNP and Bouzakis getting pinned is crazy disappointing…
-
Mills won his 3rd place match 18-4 after avenging his loss to Rivera the round before…
-
Munaretto isn’t seeded and in the finals…which doesn’t surprise me but he’s a good first world problem for the Buckeyes. Xander Myers (also Ohio State) was unseeded and knocked off the #2 and #3 seed to get to the finals. Thats really the major story lines across all the teams. Tournament has basically played out how you’d expect it…
-
The Dom vs Kilkeary match is going to be fire, both looking great Fielding can take Nogle…he’s squeezing past everyone. That 1-0 match against Karson Brown though…come one man. Shaws winning the finals… Cannon will Cannon…I’d be surprised if it’s not a TF… Stiles looks like he’s adjusting to the weight OK but he’s in for a tough one in the finals Smith played it a little to close with King…he can’t do that against Espinoza-Owens Good tournament for Mize…we’ll see in the finals? Ryder all day every day Kuhn pinning his way to the finals against Feldman…

2026 UWW Men's Freestyle World Championships Discussion
Simpleman424 replied to peanut's topic in International Wrestling
I thought there was rumor or beliefs this off season that Jax might bump up as he grows…can he get lower? -
If it makes you feel better we agree almost 100% on Kyle Snyder’s actions…I think you’re upset like he’s not being held accountable but that’s not our role. No one excuses it either but the whole situation is beyond us and between others.
-
Now you’re talking the trinity…so… Sure they do…lots of non believers feel they can speak on it
-
You just answered your own retort…
-
Agh I see what your trying to say and I’m glad you brought up Jews…Jews agree it’s from God or divinely inspired whether Moses scribed it (Orthodox) or it was orally and physically written over time (Reformed). But you are correct that traditions can carry on throughout generations of non-Christians…like the Jews (and others). There is a lot of historical data out there that points to Jesus and God across all major religions…whether it’s been altered by those cultures or not is another discussion but origins is what we’re talking about. The main point is a lot of religions hyperfocus on traditions and to a degree that’s fine but it is not a substitution for God or the good news. You seem like a smart dude, and I do appreciate the conversation, but tell me how a man who does not believe in God can hold a reasonable and unbiased opinion on what a relationship with God is, how it should look or most importantly what it feels like?
-
“Well if we’re getting biblical”…uhh what? You mentioned Christians…of course it goes biblical. Mary and Joseph were not married at the time of Jesus conception…there’s a beautiful message in there with Joseph’s obedience and trust in God to follow through with marrying Mary during those times specifically. That first statement is not clear at all…apparently an atheist philosopher, key word atheist, said something not about morality but you’re trying to tie it into the conversation? The claim is Christianity/God are the foundation of moral standard. You’re insistence on using transcendent, transcendence, imminence or whatever word you use next to try and feel enlightened has little to do with morality and more to do with oneself. You’re trusting in your subjective beliefs, “good” works and all things you to take you where you want to go after this life, if anywhere. I’m just telling you you’re not getting those universally agreed upon beliefs of good and bad from no where…certainly not yourself. Men would destroy everything if left to their own devices… Where did the Jews get their law?
