  1. It's Zain.
  2. Bagoly is descent. He's 20-5 with regular decision losses to #3 Tanner Sloan and Dean.
  3. Exactly, Fix also only has 4 losses in college one to Suriano in SV. RBY in SV and 4 to 2 and his only "bad loss" is to Phillipi.
  4. You seem to find a couple weight classes to be throw aways, I tend to disagree. 197 Has 3 former finalists and the reigning champ who is a 2 time finalist as well as 2 or 3 other guys in the mix that are studs. 157 Seven out of the top eight guys have either one loss or no losses. That said the marquis match should be RBY and Fix. Roman Bravo-Young coming back to attempt to win his third-straight NCAA title. Daton Fix looking to win his first NCAA title after finishing runner-up THREE TIMES.
  5. 133 - 3 timer opportunity (but semi-boring) Boring like their last 2 matches? Derp.... 157 - throwaway (slept on AO’C wins) What makes 157 a throw away? Derp.... 184 - grudge match, Hidley finally beats Brooks Derp 174 - grudge match, Lewis/Starocci zzz Boring like their last 2 matches? Derp.... 141 Alirez v Woods (couple hungry aggressive guys, should be entertaining) Cole Matthews may disagree. 197 Throw away. Why even wrestle it? Derp...
  6. That has happened a lot this year.
  7. He's on the Pico plan.
  8. His skinny pants are cutting off blood to his brain.
  9. Thanks. Wrestlestat left it off as a medical.
  10. Then I saw the updated rule. Which wasn't the initial rule as [psted above. Anyway, thanks for your input.
  11. I have thought about that as that may be the only possible caveat.
  12. and no this wasn't started just about to Penn State guys it was about eligibility through covid.
  13. Per the NCAA eligibility rule following Covid What does an extra year of eligibility mean? All student-athletes whose 2020-2021 season was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic will now get 6 years to compete in 4 full seasons of their sport in college. Traditionally, there is a 5-year clock for athletes to play 4 years. For seniors, this ruling meant a chance to finish out their college careers. For others, it opens a door to new academic and athletic opportunities. their seasons was cut short at the big tens in 2020 and they were not able to compete for an actual national title.
  14. He didn't have a medical redshirt.
  15. That doesn't jive. There were several instances of multi year starters including Covid that were granted an additional year of eligibility. ie: Wyatt Sheets started his NCAA career in 2017 the same year as Mark Hall. He redshirted in 2017 has a RS freshman season in 2018 and has been a starter for the last 5 years. it seems to me after the rule changed that Mark Hall and Joseph could have had one more year of eligibility. I know Mark Hall was ready to move on I'm not sure about Joseph.
  16. With so many wrestlers who have had seven or even eight years of eligibility through this year? How many top guys left eligibility on the table? Vincenzo Joseph and Mark Hall both had eligibility remaining. Both were number one seed in the NCAA tournament the covid year. Mark Hall was only at Penn State for 4 years with No Redshirt. . 1,2,2, top seed. Zahid was under the suspension. Joseph took a redshirt as a frosh. I seem to remember initially that winter sports were not offered another year of Eligibility after covid. Joseph had the chance to be at 3 timer. I believe Mark chose to move on as he had a redshirt available. Imagine if Joseph was there at 165 the following year when Penn State only had four Champs. Was there other top seeds that moved on after covid.?
  17. Nate Carr is the worst color commentator in wrestling. I thought it was reserved for Ironside but Carr is much worse. He doesn't add commentary just screams at the wrestlers and Ref.
  18. Fix and Ganges are even dressed alike.
  19. Lincoln Mac was the lock in wrestling that season he was the consensus choice to win his third title. His loss to Steve marionetti that year was a massive upset, my point being there are no locks to win the title.
  20. The operative phrase is that It's supposed to be based on the current season. The Hodge is BS, it is not the Heisman of wrestling it is a Lifetime Achievement Award.
  21. Lincoln McIlravy
