  1. I agree the boards are for entertainment but there is a ton of information too, much more than you can get from FRL.
  2. I get the link on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?ref=notif&v=615453977269979&notif_id=1683811659648279&notif_t=live_video_explicit
  3. They were discussing the baords and JD said that the message boards aren't the place for information but for entertainment purposes. FRL is a clown show, I listened this morning and they talked about Chittum for 20 minutes and Vision Quest for about 40 minutes. There was not new information that you couldn't get from the boards and I could care less about a movie that is 40 years old. I have often thought that FRL get the majority of their content from these boards that claim as entertainment.
  4. This was taken last year some time. I watched it the other day. Geno was there for a month I believe before worlds last year and Dake still hadn't moved to state college at that point.
  5. LOL, Board Royalty, Yeah I think I saw some of his finest posts in the HOF. I respect the dude. He's a long timer and a fine addition to the forum But, I m no noob, I had 5500 posts on thematforums and it's many iterations, I have seen great posters like JTTS, Lewboo, KMF (before he outed himself) and countless others and some real boneheads like BIG over the last 20 years, I have had multiple interactions with Vak over the years in several of the forums. We were both regulars on the defunct MMA forums with the Cobra, Trip and countless others. I do agree he is one of the more articulate Iowa fans on the board. Not trying to throw shade I seem to remember him being a lawyer.
  6. You are too easy to read. Your cynicism comes through in spades. Just by dropping Armstrong and doubting altruism is enough for me counselor.
  7. So by what you said PSU is doing nothing ar all wrong. Kids and senior athletes want to train at arguably the best place in the world and NIL is legal everywhere, do you have numbers that they are getting or being offered more than anywhere else? As your Armstrong comment implies. Perhaps when student athletes see the powerful comments from Max Dean (Who lobbied to go to PSU) after placing seventh being so sincere about the love that he received from the team and the PSU family and his priase of Cael and Company. Or Bo Nickel still working out with the club and the profound mutual respect he and Cael have for one another. And there are numerous others I could quote. Keep hoping and praying for your Armstrong moment. I doubt it's coming.
  8. Simmons was 5'!0" and wrestled 55kg or 121 lbs internationally. He was a 133 his final year at MSU.
  9. That was supposed to say 57kg.
  10. How does Vito make 133. He's tall. Kinda like Nick Simmons the strangler. he's like 6'4" and made 157. Guys like that baffle me when elfen dudes have trouble making weight.
  11. I agree. I don't see Starocci as the staller and don't see a rule change making him lose a couple matches. He beat Nolf in Freestyle last year who is currently #3 in the world, The ncaa changes would somewhat replicate freestyle. Burroughs was saying he was going to most likely be his his biggest rival come Freestyle season in a pre NCAA interview. Carter walked through NCAA's and pinned Labriola like an elementary kid. he may have a monster ego but he backs it up.
  12. Has anybody mentioned Dean Heil?
  13. No. I used the adderall suppositories.
  14. Well I apologize since going off the adderall. I tend to skim rather more than I should.
  15. Yes it is I just added an example that I remembered clearly, sorrry to offend your delicate sensibilities.
  16. Heil was one of the reasons they changed the neutral danger rule. Gulibon had him in danger 2/3 of the below match. when he wasn't pinned. . https://www.flowrestling.org/video/5748223-dean-heil-plays-with-fire-vs-jimmy-gulibon
  17. Because PSU continues to win. and the non PSU fans need an argument point. I could be wrong but I seem to remember Brands, Kohl, Ryan and John Smith were in opposition as well. Why change a format that's been in place for 95 years.
  18. You have to be going back prior to Sanderson to get those numbers. Caels first year in 2010 PSU was 13-6 and lost to Iowa, OK State, OK, Lehigh, tOSU. Minnesota and tied Pitt. I think you mean to say prior to 2012 PSU had a losing record against those teams. Because in 2012 PSU was 14-1 and won a national title. 2011 PSU was 17-1-1 and won a National Title. Nice attempt at skewing the numbers to fit your weak argument.
  19. It wasn't about points on the backside. It was a discussion that started about 10 years ago to decide whether there would be a seperate dual tournament to decide the real team national championship. There were opposing coaches on both sides, A couple of Caels's main arguments were that ito change it it could negatively impact attendance at NCAA's and could affect smaller schools with less budget. "In 2012, when there was a strong push around the nation to have the team title determined by a tournament of duals rather than an accumulation individuals’ performance at the NCAA Championships, Sanderson publicly voiced his opposition multiple times." He provided 48 seperate points in opposition.
  20. I think it's obvious she was talking about his ankle pick.
