Great wrestler but probably wouldn't see the starting lineup at PSU. -

Mom and pops was an overreach, but the effects are being felt like Mods Pizza with 560 locations which couldn't handle the 15.50 minimum wage. There are stories of hundreds of Employees that have shown up to work and either have a termination notice or the business is shuttered ie: the lemoore Foster freeze. Foster freeze has 607 locations

This is from the OC register: The new California $20 minimum wage for most fast-food restaurants hit April 1. It jumped $4.50 from the $15.50 on Dec. 31. That increase definitely is helping the 500,000 workers getting the pay boost – those who will keep their jobs. Some early reports from Monday are showing businesses being slammed by the higher costs. Subway franchise owner Keith Miller told NBC 7 San Diego, “You keep kind of wondering when you’re going to break the camel’s back?” “We’re having to get more efficient,” Michaela Mendelsohn, who manages 170 employees at El Pollo Loco, told NPR. “So really, what’s left is … to reduce labor hours. And I hate saying that.” The wage increase is “unprecedented as far as I know,” Raymond Sfeir, director of the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research at Chapman University, told us. He warned the increase will bring layoffs, higher prices for consumers, more use of technology such as automatic burger flippers and restaurant closures. “The unfortunate part is that many franchisees are small operators and not owners of dozens if not hundreds of restaurants,” he warned. They’re the small capitalists who are the heart of a local economy, contributing to charities and sponsoring little-league times. California’s unemployment rate for February was 5.3%, the highest of any state. Sfeir speculated the higher wage might kill 3% of jobs in the “limited service restaurants and other eating places” sector, which includes fast-food restaurants. That would add about 0.12 percentage points to the state’s unemployment rate, raising the total to 5.42%. We won’t know the overall effect for several months as the higher wage plays out. But the higher prices for consumers are on top of the overall inflation of the past four years. The Consumer Price Index for February jumped 3.2% from the year prior, still above the 2% considered reasonable. That’s on top of the sticker shock consumers still are suffering from prices rising 7% in 2021, 6.5% in 2022 and 3.4% in 2023. Costs are piling up like spoiled ketchup on a rancid burger patty. Several Mom and pops with 10 or less locations have been forced to shutter their business. There has been a viral video of the Mcdonals 25 dollar deal which is a 40 piece nugget and 2 large fries. Bidenomics and Democrat golden boy and perhaps Bidens chosen replacemant Gavin Newsom are job killing machines. How Newsom is a Democrat darling is mind boggling.

Are we assuming Forrest and Bassett go to PSU?
Threadkilla replied to 1032004's topic in College Wrestling
Listened to Jax statement after LCQ. He said: "I'm excited about wrestling in the Bryce at 17", Perhaps he was thinkin his debut would be in a couple years. -
Yeah, I'm not sure how much Bartlett has to pay PSU to come back. Cuz everybody wants to wrestle at Penn State.

Bartlett is officially coming back.

Hawkeyes reveal new wrestling prison
Threadkilla replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
Not so much. Actually the prison photo that was posted looks more inviting. The color scheme seems punitive. -
Nick Roberts tOSU to UPJ Cody Law PSU to UPJ D1 to D2

They are probably interchangeable at thia point. Both are multidimensional wrestlers. I don't know that either is more skilled or more of a brawler than the other. Both are very physical. Kasak horsed his way through the backside and is highly skilled being one of DT's star pupils like Haines. SVN is as slick as they come. Either one will be ranked #2 to start next year, and Henson won't be a big favorite over either one.

God Bless USA Bible - You Can't Make This Stuff Up
Threadkilla replied to red viking's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Doesn't it seem odd that the more they go after Trump. the more he wins. He was briefly desperate for money and gets the biggest windfall of his life the same week. You can't make it up. Divine intervention? Perhaps. Obama and Hillary's Saul Elinsky tactics normalizing depravity. Obama's apology tour where he went to other countries and trashed the US. People want to see America Great Again. The US. Brittain and France are the most desired destinations for migrants and they are the ones under attack. Why is that? Trumps detractors are falling apart. His biggest critics are fighting for their life. Diddy, the Clintons, Alec Baldwin, All of the Hollywood pedos who are the leftist power base are being exposed. Before Trump these people were untouchable. There has been a paradigm shift. It's not a coincidence. It's spiritual.
