    Nolf was on crutches for a while, so by comp Starocci looks good. Caveat: Looks can be deceiving.

    My runner up in this category is Zach Glazier. He went from the bench to giving Aaron Brooks a real match and going into Bigs with only that 1 loss. Plus he beat the Ford Pinto.

    Move the date and the non brained might move the wrestle-off late entry. Sometimes you just can't fix coaches who don't read the rules.

    Really interested in finals at 133, 165 and 197.

    Part of wrestling is having a brain. If your coach forgets this rule then you are at a true disadvantage.

    How about another Clarion wrestler, the great Wade Schalles. Most would not expect to see his name appear in a thread like this one, but did he even participate at the PIAA Championships in 1968? I know he pinned the returning Champ Chatman in the finals in 1969 and probably could have wrestled anywhere, but could the same be said the year before?

    The only thing missing from recent threads is the actual prediction of a team other than PSU winning the NCAA championship. Someone is going to make the call. But who will it be?

    Carter can wear a Nolf like knee brace and wrestle on one leg and beat 80 to 90 percent of the field.
