School was All in this year to be #1 in NJ and brought in last years State Champ at Hwt. for his Senior Year...Team was built around Knox and with so many great recruits couldnt get it done..They wont sniff the NJ top 10 again in near future

I still remember being at NCAA Tournament years ago and the great Sandy on mic saying congratulations to " TRU Freshman of Year" award ..I was around a team that just chuckled at the Tru frosh...There were 2 guys competing that were same age but they were Seniors in College.

ANY other "Ivy League" Admissions dept. would deny admission to a 19 year old recruit that beat up a 16 year old at a HS wrestling tournament....Ivy League schools are very diffucult to gain entrance with the best students in USA looking to have a spot...Then theres Cornell Wrestling that just backdoors elite wrestlers that have no reason to be at such a great academic institution...

Dad never passed Amatuer status in MMA...was 0-2 in Amatuer bouts...No Wrestling stats..things happen for reason

Good thing hes going to Cornell...Unless your a serial killer u can Wrestle for Cornell...Knox is 19 years old and could be facing a felony charge by NJ laws for HS events.. Initial reports was him and Dad were only 2 that were handcuffed

I have heard for years the Dad was a clown and talked smack everywhere and was a "tough guy" because his son was so good...Dont think Dad ever did anything on the mat but lived thru son..His actions just cost his son a very special accomplishment

Anthony Knox is ruled out of NJState Tournament after fight at District Tournament....He was a 3x champ already and wont have chance for #4....Their have only been 4 Four time Champs in NJHistory
