Yep... all signs are pointing Uguev's way.
Some of the other contenders would have to catch some lighting in a bottle to top/or get on the podium at least.
We'll find out in about 2 weeks.

Ghasempour is injured and not going. He tore something in one leg, was recovering, then tore the exact same thing in the other leg. Azarpira will go for Iran.

Darlin' you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I'll be here 'til the end of time
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
It's always tease tease tease
You're happy when I'm on my knees
One day is fine and next is black
So if you want me off your back
Well come on and let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

Why bother?
It was reported that one of his aides wrote down 6'3" 215lbs... on the paperwork.
Does that Orange Julius look like a NFL wide receiver to you?!?
( I didn't think so.)

So, is the Orange Immenseness due for his weigh-in today?
I'm thinking he's closer to 300lbs than 200lbs... unless he's fasting like a fiend so he can tip the scales at 249.9!
(Lay off those Quarter Pounders w/Cheese and for godsakes keep away from those Taco Salad Grande's.)

It was too late for you... to put up the "2"
You have but 15 minutes of "fame"... to edit that frame.
Before THE final change ... that will lay down the blame.
Because you were too slow ... now you'll have to let that go.
(Ho, ho! )

I went ahead and re-watched Elor's matches in this tournament... I'm quite impressed with her (and at a young age as well.)
And I took up denger's observation of Elor's immobilizing her opponents right wrist.
Sure enough... (also, I'm sure she would do it on the left side as well.)
The future IS bright for her... her future IS NOW!

Ahhh, curse my memory from yesterday.
Re-watched that finals match @ 61Kg... Akamadudinov got his last points via a challenge (that he won.)
Didn't help much since he was spent anyway.

I watched that match after Bouzakis won his bronze medal match... it definitely looked like Akhmadudinov took a page out of Musakaev's (Hungary by way of Russia) playbook on getting an extended lung time-out at every turn.
The first period was all the Russian's until he started his antics toward the end of the period. I just said that was what Mohit needed to see. The Indian pushed the pace in the 2nd. (Even surviving a last gasp 2pts by the Russian in the last 15 seconds... he didn't have the gas to even try a turn in the end. Mohit nabbed the gold.)
