  7. I'm ALL for exciting matches, really... bring them on. I'm not being an advocate to young Mr. Fix, either. But still, he did what he did to put the "W" in his ledger. (Hmmm, I do think that Rich may want to wear a cup w/ his athletic supporter, the next time he goes up against Fix.) D3
  8. Quoted from Mr.P-B (w/o the J): Daton Fix's ride is.... awful. Not to mention, he just grabbed the poor guy's sack It may not please the fair play advocates, but Fix wrestled a smart match ( especially with Cal St Bakersfield's Rich consistently getting to he's feet on Fix... getting out when the match was well out of hand- barring a fanTASTical last sec miracle.) D3
  9. I remember in the early 80's, there were some wrestlers that sported 35-40 bouts before the NCAA tournament started. (Heck, back when I wrestled in the early 70's... having thirty bouts before the start of the NJSIAA tournament was a lot of matches! I had 20 matches each of my last two seasons in HS after the districts.) I also recollect when I actively started to follow LEHIGH (early-mid 70's), having the first dual by early December. Hmmm. The Scuffle semis are about to start in about 5 mins. D3
  10. Alright, alright, no need to bludgeon me! (You could of did it in a not so snarky way either. Ponce? Really? Same with yours truly on that gold star bit... not necessary at all.) Why don't we start of on better footing for the New Year, okay? (The quick edit cut-off really puts everyone everyone on notice!) Peace? D3

  19. Figuratively... sure. Reality, not so much... from the LEHIGH ATHLETIC Dept release: "Earlier Saturday, Lehigh couldn't get past Oklahoma State (1-0) as the Cowboys won two matches in sudden victory and three others by just one or two points. Lehigh's wins came from Beard, who opened the dual with a 10-7 decision over Luke Surber, and Humphreys, who led early and then had to hold off Kaden Gfeller 7-6 at 157. The Cowboys won eight of 10 bouts with the only bonus points of the dual coming from second ranked Daton Fix against McGonagle at 133."
