What are Bo's goals....go grind so hard that you are worse as a senior than you were as a freshman, and your body is so broken you retire by 25. Iowa way is over......who was the last Iowa wrestler that was actually better as senior than they were as a freshman/sophomore. Tom and Terry need to retire and let a new coach come in and change up the tactics. They break their wrestlers.

He was being a total drama queen. I was there all day and after the match he was fine walking around talking with everyone. He started to get pushed by someone he didn't think should push him and he broke. I was right there. Just watch how slowly his coaches walked out to him, it was like "oh ok here we go again". Don't get me wrong he is an amazing wrestler, but maturity is an issue with Meyer.

I see this both ways. I believe it is "wrong" to call kids after they publicly commit to a school and when my son was recruited he would tell coaches he already committed to xyz school and every coach backed off and said "oh sorry I did not know that, Coach ABC is a great guy, good luck to you". But I do think it would be permissible to say "If you change your mind please call us, we were thinking of a 40% scholarship for you, so if that makes a difference to you let us know" Some kids commit early so they do not have to deal with recruiting during their senior year, but take less than they could get elsewhere. Just my thought.

Look closer into the AD....it might answer why she is cutting wrestling schollies.
