  1. Jimmy you’re truly something else. Send me a pic - I just need to see the legend behind these takes.
  2. If that game had been between Colorado and Inter Miami, it might not have been football - but when Chelsea plays PSG, that’s football.
  3. Supporters of the Islamic Republic say Faghani shouldn’t have smiled when shaking Trump’s hand. Some even say he shouldn’t have shaken hands with Trump at all.. On the other hand, most people believe he was just following protocol. Trump himself has also been criticized worldwide because he spoiled Chelsea’s celebration by being in all the photos and videos. Now Chelsea has to Photoshop him out to get rid of him.
  4. You might’ve heard that the Club World Cup final between Chelsea and PSG was held in New Jersey two days ago - and yeah, Trump showed up too. I’m not really into football myself, but over the last two days, it’s been a hot topic on Iranian social media. At the end of the match, Trump and the FIFA president handed out the awards and posed for pictures with the players and the referee. The ref, Alireza Faghani - who’s Iranian - smiled while shaking Trump’s hand and stood next to him for a photo. Now the pro-regime crowd in Iran is going after him and Iran’s state-run media have been attacking him hard. Luckily, he recently emigrated to Australia - otherwise, after shaking Trump’s hand, he’d probably have to whisper in Trump’s ear, 'How am I gonna get back to Iran now?' lol
  5. You’re ahead of me… An old Persian poem comes to mind. Here’s a rough translation of a few lines: Someone who doesn’t know, but knows they don’t - they might stumble along, but they’ll get where they’re going. Someone who doesn’t know, but wants to - they’ll break free from ignorance, body and soul. Someone who doesn’t know, and doesn’t know they don’t - they’ll stay stuck in their own ignorance forever. And someone who doesn’t know and doesn’t care to - honestly, it’s a shame they’re even still around.
  6. I’m not sure what his dad's trying to do, but I really hope this is his first and last video. He better not start some drama with Dabir, 'cause that'll just drag his son into unnecessary controversy. They’ve already had enough of that. Whatever he's planning, he should wrap it up fast.
  7. https://video.varzesh3.com/video/380368/امیررضا-معصومی-در-تمرین-تیم-ملی-جمهوری-آذربایجان Masoumi in Azerbaijan. The funny part is when his dad goes: "Gazyumov! Olympic champion?"
  8. Actually, my life is far from gloomy. I’m a free human being living in a dictatorship. You, on the other hand, are a prisoner of ignorance living in a free country. A person like me stays free even in prison - but someone like you is in chains no matter where you go.
  9. Ebrahim Elahi vs Aria Yoshida. Starting at 58:00. https://telewebion.com/episode/0x13b34058
  10. Hey American friends, if you're up for a truly unique experience, I recommend checking out Mohsen Namjoo in concert. I think his upcoming shows are in LA, Ottawa, and Chicago. You can get a taste of one of his live performances here: https://inv.nadeko.net/3ZYn2JASnis?t=17
  11. That was actually hilarious. It’s just not fair - you’re living the dream, with a flush toilet, in the greatest country on the planet - and I might get thrown into one of the world’s scariest prisons just for dropping a few cheeky comments. At least come visit me once, so I can show off to the other inmates that I’ve got a real-deal white American friend.
  12. Are you okay just with those emojis? What do you think about putting your emoji next to Bob’s? I already suggested it - do you agree?
  13. See? I’m out here risking my life for a real alternative - and you won’t even risk your royal butt cheeks. If you ever do make it to Iran for a rally, the regime might skip the juice box and hand you a diaper instead.
  14. Finding a real alternative is worth making your royal ass work a little harder - not everything in life comes with a comfy flush.
  15. U.S. think tanks are spending millions trying to figure out a real alternative - and you want me to just hand it over for free? Tell you what, come to Iran and join me in an anti-American rally, and I’ll let you in on the secret. Bonus: we get free juice boxes from the government. Can’t beat that.
  16. Jimmyyyyyy, I really love your comments, I mean it But seriously - do you actually think Muslim-majority countries all support each other? Most of their governments can’t even stand one another. Especially Palestinians - many of them blame the Iranian regime for fueling conflict in their region and preventing peace with Israel. They’re not exactly fans of the Islamic Republic. So why would Mamdani, just because he’s Muslim, automatically support Iran? He might even oppose the regime. Has he ever expressed support for it? Ever said a word about it? If he has, well, by all means - kick him the hell out of the country. But if not, let’s not project assumptions onto people just because of their religion.
  17. Dorostkar: Yazdani’s definitely going at 97. https://video.varzesh3.com/video/380206/درستکار-یزدانی-قطعا-در-97kg-کشتی-خواهد-گرفت
  18. In Greco, we’ve got Hedayati stuck behind Mirzazadeh. There’s a chance he could beat Mirzazadeh in the Olympic trials, but either way, both of them are legit Olympic medal contenders. As for Yousefi - I think the best move for him might actually be to emigrate.
  19. I really hope the U.S. can one day escape this endless back-and-forth between Republicans and Democrats. It’s just the same broken system with different faces-and the propaganda around it keeps people from seeing any real alternative.
  20. It’s all hypocrisy. Supporters with double standards who call themselves patriots - but what they really mean by patriotism is loyalty to the Islamic Republic. Go bring back Khamenei’s advisors’ kids from IMPERIALIST America to the homeland. They stole the country’s wealth and left, but they’re not called traitors. Meanwhile, Masoumi, who goes with his own money, is labeled a sellout! Enough of this nonsense.
  21. There are quite a few contradictions in what you said. How can someone be both Muslim and a Marxist at the same time? That just doesn’t make much sense. Maybe you meant socialist, which is different. A person can reference a major thinker like Marx and still just be a democratic socialist. But Marxism is a whole different thing. You’re equating support for Palestinians with support for Hamas, which isn’t accurate at all. Was Rachel Corrie, for example, a Hamas supporter? Many Palestinians themselves strongly oppose Hamas. So how does supporting Palestinian rights automatically mean someone supports Hamas? As for following sharia, if you mean bringing religious beliefs into politics, I’d actually agree with your concern. But I haven’t seen any sign that Mamdani has ever pushed for that. If you have a source showing he has, I’d genuinely be interested to see it.
  22. It seems he is originally Palestinian. But neither his origin nor his being Muslim proves anything against him. Associating his name with terrorism simply because many terrorists have been Muslim is unjust. Do you know how many sects exist within Islam? And how many subgroups each sect has? Do you know which sect most terrorists come from? Isn't it strange that many terrorists who acted in the name of Islam have now become part of Putin’s military forces in the war against Ukraine, which have no connection to Islam? Unfortunately, these issues are not analyzed deeply. People just hear one thing: Islam is dangerous, the Middle East is scary, and Muslims should be avoided.
  23. Just like I predicted - about those people’s reactions (some of which were posted on this site). By the way, this site has a long history of censorship and only publishes comments that agree with them. * It’s not all about medals, Mr. Masoumi - many fell behind a champion, but didn’t turn their backs on their country. ‌*‌ Now we realize what a big heart Kamran Ghasempour really had. * Doesn’t matter - he used to lose in the trials, now he loses on the world stage. * There was no injustice - you lost to Zare fair and square in head-to-head matches. So what’s all this drama about?
  24. The guy who, after winning Olympic gold, seemed to think he’d reached the top and that it was time to shift gears and become a major celebrity (that’s how I interpreted his choices)- now he’s looking to be Sadulaev’s punching bag? Did Gable make the wrong life choices after the Olympics? I really hope he’s happy on the inside now, but I can’t help thinking he had way bigger dreams in mind back then.
