A number of world champs at each weight and a lot of those world champs have seeds. When you have to be "drawn-in" you kind of lose your argument about getting a solid opponent. Earn some ranking series points and get a spot. Again, do you think it changed the results for Coon or Elor, drawing the 1. We simply aren't seeded so we have to wrestle a seed right off the bat, 1-8

I don't know, look through the brackets. It's not a great number at all, maybe 0 would be better, but I don't think it changed the results for Amit or Coon so far. Do you?

Eh, I mean Greco we lose to basically everyone, so a "good" draw seems hard to come by. Amit has pinned Tosun already and crushed her. Sarah avoided Susaki. Dom Parrish got 100% shot at repechage. Brooks avoided Yazdani/Kurugliev Spicey Lee avoided Higuchi/Abakarov/Aman Not the worst draws

Type them out. I mean Amit did. Coon did. Brooks will. Who else has wrestled. Spicey Lee won't Sarah didn't Dommy didnt. Jacobsen didn't Rau didnt Bey didn't I'm not sure who else has wrestled. But 3 is a lot out of 9 I mean 30% is statistically high but tis the draw

I've been looking at his last 2 worlds. lol DT has been a thorn to ole boy. Brooks has his hands full, but in a loss he should get brought back in. Lets just hope he wins I don't mind Spicey Lee's draw either but no idea what to expect in the first or second rounds

Just looked up Fujis results from the last 2 world championships she's competed in, its all 10-0 techs cept the one 16-7 fall, against that same Ecuadorian we just saw compete. Go Parrish

I swear. lol I'm trying to look at this like when I watch wrestling with my moms husband. He's folkstyle through and through so he can't understand how shot-fakes aren't "action" in freestyle..... He's like we had 20 more shots than that guy in the opening 2 minutes why are we on the clock? I'm trying to look at Greco the same. I don't wanna be like "we snapped the head 5x there we should never be down" Speaking of Greco. We need to win a match soon, figured we'd get 3ish wins. Getting nervous

Either A.) he was a lot of action with no follow-through (Which is what I'm thinking they saw, other dude always bounced off and got one foot back in center) or B.) They put Joe down first intending on giving him the second period dominant position (assuming he doesn't get tossed in the first)....... also something I feel like they do sometimes. You're right though, 5 was just too big a hole. If they wrestled again right now, probably a different match
