  13. I don't see any other thread for this topic (although there was a set of predictions posted on the "week's schedule" thread) so here is a starting spot for other predictions or running commentary tonight.
  14. Finn Solomon had a nice win at Lehigh; hope he can do it again.
  15. Exactly. Just like SiriusXM. When your original deal expires and they hike your rate, call to cancel. The first person will give you a slightly better offer. Say, 'No, no, I really want to cancel'. They will then hand you off to a retention specialist who will give you back your original deal. Once I had to actually cancel for a month before they re-sent the best offer. Annoying, but that is what the deal is.
  16. No PA kids in Iowa's lineup. When was the last time that happened? They had that long run of even just Franklin Regional HS (Kemerer and Lee) for years.
  17. You're not kidding. I get it that they like to give students some opportunities to broadcast, but at least find one who has wrestled and knows the scoring. This was another long list of cringeworthy moments of "plays" and "flipping him" and even "reversals" where both guys are still in neutral. This was in Iowa fer crissakes, there must be some HS state placer who wasn't D1 material, but attends Iowa and still follows the sport that they could have drafted for this assignment.
  18. Thanks D3 for LU for the updates. At least Pitt wrestling won this afternoon to offset the terrible performance by the Steelers this afternoon...
  19. You're welcome. Just dusting off the off-season rust. And practicing yelling "Three!!!" for later in the season when my college team scores a takedown.
  20. 19-12 for VT final.
  21. Slavikouski at heavy for Rutgers from Harvard. (? But then wrestlers transfer from Stanford to tOSU, so, you never know). No score at the end of the first.
  22. 197 Poznanski holds on for a 4-2 decision over Smith.
  23. Sorry, went to the liquor cabinet at intermission and got involved in a deep conversation there. (Hey, it's Friday night here on the East Coast). VT running away with the dual now, 19-6.
  24. Major for Andonian. Did enough to win, but Desantis did not fade, even after the two stall calls. Intermission
  25. TD Andonian 12-5. 19 seconds left.
