  1. Oh look, a naked Whataboutism!
  2. For a group that loves to fly the Gadson flag, you guys sure don't seem to understand it. Biology, even less so.
  3. That may be the way for you, but why do you want to force everyone to live your way? I thought that was one of the right's big objections is that the left is trying to tell you how to live... Seems hypocritical to me.
  4. Twitter is toast. https://www.npr.org/2022/11/25/1139180002/twitter-loses-50-top-advertisers-elon-musk
  5. Shades of 'real Americans'...
  6. If a police officer or district attorney lies or hides evidence in a capital case then they should immediately be put to death? If someone was convicted for a capital crime and then exonerated with DNA evidence, do we execute the judge and the jury? Why do you care so much about the pitiful difference between life in prison and the death penalty? Why are you so fired up about 'saving babies' that you will never meet but so gung ho to kill other people you will never meet? Is there no circumstance too arcane for the GOP base to not have a compelling interest?
  7. When does a fertilized egg become a 'baby'. Does the mother's life factor in in any way for you? What about rape and incest? Why is it any of anyone's business who isn't one of the two parties involved?
  8. Post your evidence. Peer reviewed papers in reputable journals please.
  9. I've always suspected that "Hunter Biden's Laptop" was a an attempt at prophylaxis since the Trump kids (Don Jr, Eric, Ivanka, Jared) were all directly employed by the White House and they were into some pretty ugly stuff. "If you go after my kids, I'll go after yours!" type of thing.
  10. The tone is better here for some reason. It's clear there's a large divide, but it hasn't degenerated into name calling and sloganeering. That's a big plus.
  11. Ivermextin and hydroxychloroquine still have zero scientific evidence to support their use in COIVD treatment. Should all of those posts have stayed up that promulgated dangerous medical advice? There is still nothing about this story that has been shown to be criminal. Hunter Biden is a private citizen who is being hounded. It should come down until such time as there is proof of criminality. Probably with a professional Trust and Safety team that does this work professionally... Further, Twitter and other social media companies are private corporations exercising control on their property. You have no rights there beyond what they grant. Don't like it, don't use it. Kind of like ... here.
  12. Again, what are your thoughts on Georgia's new abortion law? Six weeks max and Why are GOP laws always the MOST INVASIVE when they claim to want less government intrusion into citizen's private lives?
  13. This is a medical question that should be answered by doctors. It's not the domain that laymen should be intruding on. It's a medical decision and it's none of my business unless I'm involved. Just as we don't get a say in when a man goes in for a vasectomy. Roe v Wade was a compromise that worked for a long time.
  14. I asked a straightforward question, which you have still not answered.
  15. Abortion is a medical procedure that is decided between the pregnant woman and her doctor. Your turn.
  16. Where does Georgia fall on your scale? Legal up to 6 weeks. Most women don't know they're pregnant at that point. Many fetal abnormalities aren't apparent at that point.
  17. They are a private company. They can do as they please. If you don't violate the Terms of Service, you don't generally get suspended. I've lost about a dozen accounts on Twitter and my politics are on the left.
  18. Karl Rove has some thoughts. He's not my favorite person, but he's no dummy. https://www.wsj.com/articles/josh-hawleys-election-folly-gop-midterms-donald-trump-endorsement-working-class-voters-nomination-candidate-11669213027
  19. Follow me for more family relationship advice!
  20. What other source would you use? They own the National incident database.
  21. No, it's not. The statistics don't support that. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2022/10/31/violent-crime-is-a-key-midterm-voting-issue-but-what-does-the-data-say/
  22. Mostly in the new CEO's office.
  23. Nationwide firearm insurance based on risk might. If you want to solve a problem permanently, send in the actuaries.
  24. It used to be that I'd eat until my left shoulder hurt. No more.
