Rock Harrison sucks at commentating. I hate the sound of his voice. I hate how he is constantly talking. The Big 10 crew is way better with balancing commentating and letting the sound of the match and atmosphere drive the broadcast. Lastly I truly hate the way he raises his excitement level way too high for literally every attempted takedown or near fall. I totally understand raising the level of excitement, but I think it really comes down to I can't stand the sound of his voice and his constant talking.

Lol did Minto who was the #3 seeded 165 really just celebrate/taunt after getting a win against the 13 seed. The guy stalled the 2nd and 3rd period and probably should've gotten hit with at least 2 more stalls in the 3rd...

Over the past decade they've gotten much less patient and much louder when it comes to crying for stalls.

I don't see it as less involved. I see it as desperate because they know their "break the opponent" style isn't the best style anymore so they need all the points they can get.

Am I the only one that find Iowa fans to be super annoying. Like the 133 match OSU wrestler gets taken down and less than 15 seconds later the fans are booing like he's been there for over a minute. It just seems like they are always desperate for stall calls.

Shane is from Wisconsin and all those terms are common in Wisconsin youth/high school wrestling lol.

As a Wisconsin fan I'll give you my top 3 people I would like to see as the next head coach. 1. Ben Askren: Obvious name recognition and has been a great coach at the club level. 2. Max Askren: Slightly less name recognition than Ben, but will probably fit into the structure and rules NCAA coaches have to follow. 3. Nick Becker: Has been great at Parkside, great relationships within the state for recruiting, and he has a good relationship with AWA so we can hopefully keep some of our studs home. 4. Non obvious hire, Alex Dieringer: From Wisconsin, great wrestler, and seems like a great guy. At the end of the day though they could hire basically anyone and get better results than what Bozo is currently getting.

I don't know how it works either, but many UW insiders are complaining about Miami allegedly tampering with the player by contacting him before he entered the transfer portal. Either way if I'm an elite recruit or elite transfer I would be nervous committing to Wisconsin because of the issues within the athletic department.

Well I thought my disappointing Badgers would've learned from their mistakes but here we are again. The UW program has dropped quite a bit since Burwicks transfer was messed up, and now they have either refused to file transfer paperwork or simply missed the deadline for one of their football players who was trying to transfer to Miami (his hometown) and Miami reportedly offered him a 6 figure NIL deal to come. Hopefully this doesn't completely destroy the football program too.

Another elite Wisconsin kid that the Badgers can't convince to stay. I can't wait until Bozo is gone and we get a real coach that can keep elite wrestlers in Wisconsin.

Beyond sick of this crap but what can i expect when our coach can't land 1 elite recruit

The university revolves around money and Wisconsin is paying Bono 40k more than Mark Manning and 80k more than Brandon Eggum, Tony Robie, and Doug Schwab. Each of those other programs are significantly better than Bozo. This comes down to UW needs a coach not a used car salesman/hypeman.

Yeah I was excited at first with Moran, Gross, Wick, and Hilger. It is really disappointing that they can't get any top recruits and they definitely can't develop anyone.

I doubt he is the one actually running the Badgers social media, but they posted a picture of the 3 ranked wrestlers we have. I commented that I can't wait until this season is over and the used car salesman hype man we call a head coach is gone. They deleted the comment. Lol I guess you can't criticize the program anymore

Now that the Olympics are over I would just like to say folkstyle is way more interesting and way easier for casual fans to understand than freestyle.

Amos is currently the heavyweight but I was thinking 197 for Ferrari

I could definitely see 1 of them following. It isn't even because they want to follow Taylor, but instead where will they fit into the lineup Messenbrink Haines Facundo, and their incoming freshman

Maylor was a senior. Amos also had shoulder issues 2 years ago at NCAAs and injury defaulted out of that tournament. Zargo and Amos are the only returning qualifiers. No elite recruits. No depth. It will be an ugly year for the Badgers and the used car salesman they have as a head coach.
