  1. 2 takedowns to 0 and 10-0. Weird dual so far.
  2. Woods played around too much early, gassed out late. Lemley hella impressive late.
  3. Most junk ass wrestling from DeAugustino, lol. Like a knuckleballer.
  4. He definitely seemed fine with just hanging out.
  5. That looked like the Starocci of the beginning of his career rather than the one from most of last year and this year.
  6. Does Welsh know that he's going to have to actually attack to win?
  7. The same ref who never called Bartlett for stalling just called Welsh for a call there? Just some consistency, please.
  8. They've been pronouncing them like they're weirdly French, lol.
  9. God, I'm so jealous that Mesenbrink went to Penn State. My kind of wrestler.
  10. Haines seems less active this season, I'd imagine it's the cut.
  11. Ohio Stat le O/U 0.5 points the rest of the meet?
  12. I didn't see the 125 call live, but ugh, terrible. 133 seemed ok. 141 the call seemed ok. I'm more bothered with how little Bartlett did without the refs ever even seeming to care. Kasak looked (depressingly) solid. And now...the slaughter begins
  13. Truly an awful story. He's also been deported 4 times previous to this most recent tragedy. I'm not sure what you're going for with this story https://www.denverpost.com/2024/01/17/broomfield-crash-rioradn-melissa-powell-dui-jose-menjivar-ice-immigration/ Not only that, but he was back in the country during the Trump presidency. That's not an indictment of Trump, it's just emblematic of how difficult a problem this is to solve. https://nypost.com/2023/12/22/news/alleged-drunk-driver-with-3-dui-convictions-kills-mom-son/ The truth is, statistically, the crime rates among undocumented people is lower than the general US population. That of course doesn't change the awful thing that happened to this family or that he has criminal history and is highly likely to be guilty of this most recent tragedy. Nor does it mean that there shouldn't be border enforcement https://www.ojp.gov/library/publications/comparing-crime-rates-between-undocumented-immigrants-legal-immigrants-and
  14. And therein lies the problem with most political discourse. No information on the subject and dismissing opinions of others who do.
  15. Good come back, dude.
  16. Or because you pay him.
  17. Respect is earned.
  18. You mean how they dropped during the COVID pandemic and then return to similar numbers as before?
  19. Immigrants, immigrations activists, progressives, Yeah, that's what they say. Lawyers are famously kind and respectful to others and not at all arrogant.
  20. This is literally the definition of correlation, not causation. No, that wasn't my argument. You're just making things up. It's not just me who thinks immigration law is too complicated. It's anybody who has any idea what they're talking about. It was too complicated 4 years ago, and 8 years ago, and 16 years ago, etc. etc. Which is why for all of my adult life (and probably before then, but I wasn't paying attention) both parties keep talking about the immigration system being broken and needing to be fixed, but neither side agreeing on fixes. The audacity to pretend this is some new issue....
  21. Because the current immigration law and system is broken and full of laws that contradict each other, as acknowledged by both parties. You guys pushing on this side of the political equation need to make a decision, should he issue EOs to fix the issue, or should he "enforce existing laws" that none of you know what you're talking about when you say? Honestly, you all seem to think the immigration code is: 1. No illegal immigration. 2. See 1. ~Fin.
  22. He literally can not. You and others just saying this over and over again is just false. 1. Only for people who don't understand middle school concepts like "correlation doesn't equal causation." 2. You just saying that Trump had the border under control isn't actually evidence of anything. Statistically, his policies did almost nothing about illegal immigration, although he did manage to severely cut down on legal immigration.
