National Duals date shift

During National Duals, the Paycom fellow who funded the whole thing said the arena was already booked for 2026 for the same dates.  Sweet.

Now seeing the dates are Dec 12-13

What caused the change?  Anyone know?

I see two issues

1) conflict with CKLV

2) conflict with finals 

 

(Sadly / weirdly, while #2 should be the bigger issue, I’m sure it will be discounted.  Wrestlers don’t need no stinking edamacation.)

After National Duals finished they said it would be the same time next year. Then very recently it was announced that the World Championships would be much later than normal with U23s in late mid October and Seniors ending on November 1. Now NDI announces it's moved its date back. An official reason hasn't been given, but that sequence of events could be telling.

Any word on why the UWW pushed their dates back? It looks like the dates are back to normal in '27. Pretty nice that U23s will be in Vegas though
