In my opinion the difference between freestyle and folk is too big to draw a direct correlation. We have seen guys who blow by guys in one get hammered by the same guys in the other or really close in matches in one and blowouts in the other.  

I'm not saying he hasn't improved but to say he's jumped levels would require some way to quantity or even qualify that
