Likely key dates  in the selection process for the 2025-26 season --

 

Thu, Jan. 22nd:                       First Coaches' Panel (CP) Rankings released

Sat, Jan. 24th:                       Beginning of 30-day period for 3rd CP Rankings

Thu, Feb. 12th:                       Second CP, first Rating Percentage Index (RPI) Rankings released

Sun, Feb. 22nd:                    End of 30-day period for 3rd CP Rankings; pre-allocated spots based on matches through this date

Thu, Feb. 26th:                    Third CP, second RPI, NCAA pre-allocated spots announced

F/Sun, Mar. 6th-8th:                 Conference tournaments

Tue, Mar. 10th:                       At-Large bids released

Wed, Mar. 11th:                  NCAA Brackets posted; Fourth CP, third RPI released

Thu, Mar. 19th:                      Replacement deadline -- one alternate at each weight class on standby at weigh-ins (two alternates are selected in each weight class)

T/F/S, Mar. 19th-21st:      NCAA tournament

 

Based on the 2025 release dates

 

The rankings released on Mar. 11th will be used to determine the At-Large bids
