From six years ago:

“The Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Inspector General (OIG) just released its formal report on the conduct of former FBI Director James Comey following his firing in May of 2017, and it is scathing. The OIG report concluded that Comey stole federal documents, improperly disclosed FBI records, leaked classified information, and violated FBI policies.

“The responsibility to protect sensitive law enforcement information falls in large part to the employees of the FBI who have access to it through their daily duties,” the OIG report found. “Former Director Comey failed to live up to this responsibility.”

“By not safeguarding sensitive information obtained during the course of his FBI employment, and by using it to create public pressure for official action, Comey set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees — and the many thousands more former FBI employees who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information.”“

While that is interesting, it is not what the indictment is about. You should try reading it. It won't take long. It is a page and a half long, including the header. Remove the header and it is a page long with a whole lot of white space. It loiks like a term paper written by someone who slept through class all semester.

The indictment refers to the events that occured on Sept 30, 2020, more than three years after the events in the OIG report.

And the OIG referred their report to the DOJ for prosecution in 2019. Trump's handpicked insurance lawyer decided not to use it in her indictment, which probably tells you what you need to know about it.

Oh little Jimmy I mean isn't taking the 5th admitting guilt? Or accepting a pardon? I don't expect you to understand grown up concepts like accountability.

So you can turn down a pardon??????  Bahahahahahahahahaha.

Its easy to be a non believer when you’re alive but it won’t be when you die.

Old slip n tweet should really know that pleading the fifth is NOT admitting guilt as it’s a constitutional right.  But then again unlawfuls are kinda stupid.

While I first suspected you were being partisan, I now realize you are also uninformed.  If I were in your situation, I’d be asking questions, not making declarations.

We are all uniformed. That is the nature of an uniformative indictment filed by a lawyer whose only qualification is the willingness to ignore her professional obligation to curry favor with the world's most transactional person. But I am sure if you had been given the chance to file that indictment it would have been a master work. You know, because how informed you are.

Just another politically motivated prosecution  you won’t acknowledge boss.

Little Jimmy just repeats what he reads on Twitter if it's not too long and complicated.

There is a major problem with your theory. Letitia James secured a conviction. It is impossible to know the motivation when the defendant is guilty, and it frankly doesn't matter. Because of the defendant's guilt.

But at least you know and admit Comey's prosecution is politically motivated. After all Trump was good enough to make that obvious with his social media posts.

Maybe Comey is guilty, but it does not seem that way based on this ridiculous indictment. Nor does it seem that way based on the DOJ resignations that have resulted from it.

That conviction you’re referring to as politically motivated
