I actually know people who have contracted with FEMA. The thing they all say is what a corrupt system of waste it is. I stand by my point, funding in government has little to do with quality of output. Corrupt wasteful system need less funding.

And the best possible way forward is to replace it with ... nothing?

See the title of this here thread, Cletus.

I see the title and it's just a s obtuse as the poster. You have no idea what trumps plans are to handle disasters. Probably rely on the military and guard as he has stayed.

What would you like to bet that there will be zero unexpected hurricanes to hit the US? Where I'm at it's raining exactly as was anticipated.

FEMA has nothing to do with projecting the path and strength of storms.  The more you speak on the topic the more you show how clueless on the topic you are, no matter how many people you and Tripnsweep know out there....

You should just stop.

Well it was clearly part of the discussion, but not one that fits your narrative anymore. Like I said, lowering budgets and removing authority from corrupt government bureaucrats will not reduce effectiveness. Once streamlined they will do more with less.  Not a difficult concept.

ENHANCING EFFICIENCY THROUGH STATE AND LOCAL PREPAREDNESS: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to empower states, localities, and citizens to more effectively prepare for incidents like cyber attacks and weather events.

The Order enables state and local governments to better understand, plan for, and address the needs of their citizens by reducing the complexity of federal preparedness and response policies.

Here is a small parts of what you choose to ignore.

I'm not choosing to ignore anything, I'm just not bouncing around looking for anything possible to argue and make myself feel better like I'm winning an anonymous message board argument.  I addressed a very specific stupid comment(s) you made in trying to make a point, that made no sense.  I live in the middle of hurricane alley, and I work for a municipality.  I have had my house destroyed and I have worked hand in hand with FEMA putting our city back together.  I can assure you this is a topic I ignore nothing.  I can also assure FEMA is not perfect, for sure.  What is?

But......parrots are gonna parrot.  Enjoy.

Typical response by Mr Feels. Loses, plays the message board warrior card and runs.  Wash, rinse, repeat.  Mr Feels doesn’t bounce around trying to win a message board discussion yet he does.

That literally does nothing.
