Great overall meet, but there were certainly questionable calls at the end of 165 and 197.

Ragusin and Lewan let their opponents dictate the match.

They'll need to be on the top of their game in two days against Wisconsin.

Lewan needs to "pull the trigger" and close the distance.

He wins 3-1 or loses 3-1...

And he does have a leg attack!!!!  A long time ago, when I was a young coach, one of my really goods was a defensive wrestler.  We went to maybe an age-group state tournament, and he got beat in the finals by a good kid who was more offensive.  After that I spent more and more time in the room on offense....don't get me wrong, we worked hard on defense, but there was more emphasis on offense.  That same wrestler a couple of years later became a 2 time state placer/state champion.  He was actually an age-group national champion as well.

Mich guy moving left, Mich St guy moving right, ref is watching, Mich guy pushes, Mich St guy steps forward, ref watching more, Mich guy backs up, Mich St guy goes forward, ref puts whistle in his mouth... but no whistle. Mich guy circles, Mich St follows. The crowd is electric.

Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start.
