Gable Steveson is baaack!

The Olympic champion, who went on to win his second NCAA championship at 285 pounds in 2022, is coming out of retirement to claim his third title in March.

Stevenson spent some time in the WWE and most recently had a stint in the NFL as a member of the Buffalo Bills.

Minnesota will also return 2024 All-Americans Isaiah Salazar and Vance Vombaur this season.

WWE legend Brock Lesnar is the #23 best wrestler in program history.

Three-time NJ state champion Damion Hahn of Lakewood is ranked #3.

The top seven wrestlers in Gophers history won a total of twenty-five NCAA medals and thirteen titles and include six two-time champions!

Dylan Ness could've been a 3-time finalist if he hadn't injury defaulted out of the tournament in the semis his senior year. Dunno if he would've won it all but IIRC he was pinning his way through the bracket until he got hurt.
