Ayala still can't scramble

I'd be more specific and say the Massasschusetts kid knew way more positions in general, and ayala couldn't stay out of em.

I try not to put too much stock into November results but that was a really discouraging start to the season at 133 for Ayala.

But then I'm reminded of Richie Fig Newton's early season last year.

well you would like to feel like there was some off season growth...

wonder why Provo hasn't been wrestling - injured?  Anyway, Stanford looks extremely impressive without him and Cardenas.  Tons of talent in the room

is cardenas back?

I dont have any inside information, but wrestlestat has been listing him as taking a redshirt this year - and Cholakyan as the starter.

Brands getting stuff outta Parco and Teemer that Zeke couldn't?

Yes, but thats not an insult sense Jones had obviously gotten stuff out of them that Brands wouldn't have..

just seems like Zeke coaches in a way that doesn't take advantage of an athletes athleticism and Brands sorta lets em rip. I dunno, I'm a Sun Devil fan and its frustrating

Garving could be really dangerous once he gets a gas tank

I guess he just had to make weight twice in two days though - maybe a factor?

the style he coaches is predicated on athleticism but I agree its not physical enough for folk and turns everything into a chess match.
