This isn't too encouraging for the future of UW wrestling and other non-revenue sports.

I blame Bono 😑

"Q: Will UW change its sport offerings?
A. UW Athletics plans to maintain its current offering of 23 sports. We are taking a nuanced, sport-by-sport and unit-by-unit approach to address the financial challenges we are facing."

This!

If a B1G school the size of UW feels the pain for non revenue sports, what will it be like at much smaller schools? All I can say is hold on to your hats, the ride may get very bumpy!

Examples might be increased advertising and sponsorship opportunities or an increased number of non-Badger athletic events in our facilities.

Looking forward to those Culver's ads on the back of everyone's singlets. Butter Burgers...Yum!
