GreenandGold Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Bucky passed away Tuesday night. To those who never met or knew him, he was a legend and a character in the wrestling community. To those who did, you most likely have a story or two to tell. It would be great to hear some of those as after wrestling for him 20 years ago, I still hear new ones all the time.
Sheerstress Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 When he finally stepped down from the NDSU job in 2011, he had been at that position for an amazing 47 years. Managed to beat cancer in the process. RIP to a great coach. 1
MNRodent Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Him and Rummy Macias (Mankato State) had a nice Division 2 rivalry from the 60s to the 80s. They both passed away this year. RIP.

A good guy & a good coach, but way past his expiration date & it showed. ” Never attribute to inspiration that which can be adequately explained by delusion”.
