Alirez / Mendez - fundraising snooze?

From Intermat write up match was basically 2-1 with penalty point for each and push out for Jesse.  Desperation shot by Alirez resulted in Jesse 4-1 win.  Not much action.

Frankly, that’s crap.  It was the one big match.  Was for a fundraising event.  Wish they decided to put on a show and make wrestling look like a great sport.  It is an exhibition.  Have some fun.  

Do they get any coaching on this point?  Told to act like it’s Worlds?

It almost felt as though Alirez was not trying to give Jesse a feel which I think is very dumb. Jesse seemed to be at least going at him but it's hard to open a guy like that up if they are adamant on not wrestling. I agree though was a terrible match, but I actually really enjoyed the speakers.

Didn't care for Mendez dusting himself off after the match.  It was a brutal match to watch and neither one seemed to interested in trying to score points.
