Plott Truax single leg

Was Plott’s single leg finish on Truax legal (first period shot where Truax got hurt)? I genuinely don’t know. Have seen guys do this finish a lot but it also looks like Plott turns out the foot before driving which seems worse for the knee.

Looks like lifts the foot and leg straight up no twisting.
